Happy 1 year anniversary baby! I love you beyond explanation. Its been quite a year but wouldn’t want to continue writing my story with anyone else. From our engagement photos 3/23/22 to the wedding 3/23/23 and to the present, I will always stand by your side😘

My birthday looked a little different this year!
Usually im sitting in the snow, or rain, or warm sun in the middle of the benmark swamp waiting on a deer.
Many of you know i hunt every year because i was born on deer opener in Michigan. A family tradition that continues on and is deeply special to our family.
This year, after a crazy amount of travel and while planning our wedding, we decided it was best to stay on maui for my birthday.
We hiked into the crater of Haleakala and camped at a wilderness cabin for the night. It was a brisk 35 degrees at night with incredible views and a breathtaking night sky.
This once in a life time adventure will be remembered forever.
Thanks to the greatest friends for making my first birthday away from tradition an incredible one.
Photos wont do this trip justice but it gives you all a glimpse into the adventure and grueling hike out of haleakala crater.

Oh man…. Where do i start with you?
Babe, you have flipped my world upside down. Maui has welcomed me with so many amazing memories and opportunities and you have blown them all out of the water. One year ago today, it was my quitting day from a toxic management position and we went galavanting to the big island on an adventure that still continues today.
That stranger i didnt know anything about put up with me in a tiny house in a new place and didnt run away but instead decided to stay by my side forever.
We have had such an incredible year and we have a lifetime of memories to make.
Happy anniversary and cheers to so many more great times, travels, and memories to come.

Gus had a great first long flight and crushed it like we knew he would!
Between weddings and seeing family and friends on both sides of the fam, this trip was an incredible 3 weeks.

Stoked we were able to make a family trip happen after 13 years without a full family vacation.

We both struggled to get through our early school years.
Education systems weren’t for us.
Our intelligence is not determined by our schooling, our school, our “book smarts”.
Then we learned how to learn. We thrived through college. Excelled really.
Now we are here with so many accomplishments few accomplish in their lives. I’m Proud of your accomplishments, mine as well, and all the little troubles we overcame growing up to allow self education to lead the way for our futures.
Cheers to expansive, expensive, impressive, and exhilarating futures.
So glad we got to catch up on the west coast as our paths crossed accidentally🤙.

Had an amazing and relaxing adventure last weekend. First time in about 2 years I had no use for my phone, other than photos of course.
The great Bentley reset has begun.
Clearing my mind, having fun, exploring and best of all relaxing.
Relaxation has never come easy for me so I am very grateful I had the opportunity to decompress and start the next and better chapter on the right foot.
