Time to pick up the spurs and dust them off. And as Emeril would say, “Kick it up a Notch!
Well, it has been about ten years since I put in an Awesome Shower. All the setting materials and most of the tile has changed. This will be my first roll-in wheel chair access. We are going to have some fun designing this. I say We! Hehe.
Bonus round: Pop a cold one and admire before final clean up! Hehe
3. Apply at least 3 coats of polyurethane. Allow adequate drying time. Sand with 220 grit between coats. Do not use a shop vac and limit your traffic. Wipe with mineral spirits and dry as you go.
2. Sand and edge to at least 100 grit or smoother. Shop Vac. Wipe down thoroughly with mineral spirits to remove dust. Do not use a tack cloth.
3 Laborious steps to a beautiful natural wood floor:
1. Remove carpet, pad, tack strips. Counter sink or remove any nails.
