Smell: Now before jumping into this review. I want to take a moment to say that Clark and Hopkins are doing a fantastic job supporting Ukraine with their sauce with a mission campaign. Every purchase of the Ukraine Hot Sauce, $1 is donated to the World Central Kitchen to help rebuild the community in Ukraine. The aroma of this sauce is incredible, and the biggest player in this sauce is the Beets. I personally loved pickled beets and eat them straight from the jar all the time. They are sweet, zesty, zingy, and tangy and the aroma is completely reflected in this sauce. The aroma of the beets works very well with the bright, fruity, and citrusy aroma of the Orange Habanero peppers. However, lurking past these aromas there is a strong dill aroma along with savory notes of Onion, Garlic, and Caraway.
Taste: This sauce is incredibly delicious and is so unique by using the flavor of the beets beautifully. The sauce starts off with a touch of sweetness from the Beets and the Habanero Peppers but then you quickly get this salty, vinegary, pickled flavor from the Beets and the Dill. The pickled flavor is very unique but not sharp or overwhelming. The habanero pepper helps support it very well. Lurking behind you get a touch of vinegar zing and the savory flavors of onion, garlic, and Caraway seed. Overall this is a very unique hot sauce and honestly could be used for most food dishes. I would give this a solid 10/10. This is a sauce with a mission.
Heat: This sauce has a decent bite and I would say this is a solid 5/10 on heat.
