Here is my second cake for this week. It’s a white cake with whipped cream frosting and strawberries. Dripped and drizzled with a white chocolate ganache. Perfect for spring!

Been awhile since I’ve done some baking. Got back into with one of my favorites. Chocolate cake with cherries, vanilla buttercream, chocolate ganache and chocolate shavings. Yum!

First time making a tart and it was soooo good! A Berry Cream Tart with a buttery shortbread crust, creamy made from scratch vanilla pudding topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries glazed with jam.

This is a cake I haven’t made in a long time. It’s a Black Forest Cake made of a chocolate cake with a homemade cherry compote between the layers and topped with freshly made whipped cream frosting and lots of chocolate shavings. This one is for me and I can’t wait to try it!

So this was a special request birthday cake for my nephew’s birthday. It’s a white cake with chocolate buttercream. In between the layers is a homemade strawberry purée and then it’s topped with more purée and chocolate covered strawberries! Hope he enjoys it! I spent the day baking cupcakes and decorating them in pretty pink and coral florals . Loved this color combination with a pop of green with the leaves. Also made some Nutella Swirled Mini Cheesecakes with an Oreo Bottom.

My husband loves my chocolate chip cookies and loves cheesecake. So for his birthday I combined them! A cheesecake with my chocolate chip cookie dough as the crust, topped with chocolate ganache and more crumbled chocolate chip cookies. It was delish!

All boxed up and ready to go! Been doing lots of baking for a dessert bar at a wedding. 150 mini blueberry cobblers, 150 cookies and for the bride a banana poke cake. It’s been stressful but fun at the same time.

What are your Christmas baking traditions? For me, it’s home made cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing for breakfast and a cheesecake for Christmas dinner dessert. This year’s cheesecake is snickerdoodle. The crust is made with freshly baked snickerdoodles, a hint of cinnamon in the cake and it’s topped with a sugar/cinnamon mixture. Yum! What’s your’s?

So enjoyed making this for a wonderful lady who I truly admire and wish the happiest of birthdays. It’s a mixture of yellow cupcakes with chocolate buttercream and chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream. The vanilla buttercream is tinted in Tiffany blue and topped with hand made white chocolate snowflakes. Happy birthday Tammy Handley!

Sweet and Salty. Great combination, right? So I took my already fabulous chip cookie (IMO!) and added caramel and pretzels. Oh my! The combination of the caramel and chocolate with the pieces of salty pretzel is just perfect!

I know everyone else thinks of pumpkins in the fall, and, don’t get me wrong, I love pumpkin! However, I wanted to do another fall flavor, maple. So how about maple and bacon cupcakes! We all know bacon goes with everything and these cupcakes do not disappoint! Cupcakes made with pure maple syrup and bits of bacon inside and frosted with maple buttercream and topped with more bits of bacon!
