Lake Texoma Sunrise! We did some Striper fishing early with big baits. And then Smallmouth Bass fished after that. We caught some Smallmouth and a few Largemouth but it may be the toughest bite I've seen for them. I'll blame the lake turning over but really don't have a real reason. The lake is definitely turning. Stunk like heck today. Tea colored water all over. Especially on the south end. Coves on the north end are pea green color. The lake turnover associated with cooler water temps is what starts to kick everything into high gear. I am ready for it.

Family day for me but CJ took these guys for some Striper fishing and pulled a nice box. We still have plenty of fall openings if you want to come get some.

We worked hard. Scraped and scrounged to pull off a nice pile. I don't mind working hard as long as it pays off and I have good people to do it with.

CJ's last few days. Sometimes the fish make it easy. Sometimes they make you work. I was off for a little coyote hunt the past few days but right back at it tomorrow.

This group is as great as it gets. The world needs more families like this one. We put the work in and handled our business. Caught fish the whole time and laughed while we were doing it. Perfect way to start the weekend. I plan on smoking some meat and hanging with family on Saturday. Church with the wife on Sunday. And then coyote hunting with my best coyote calling buds for a few nights after that. Enjoy the weekend.

A-listers today. We hung a 50 spot on them and then headed for the shade. Great fisherman and light weekday boat traffic makes the day all the more enjoyable.

Easy limits this morning on live shad. I was pleasantly surprised when my buddy Chad Craig walked down the dock. All that guy needs is to get close to a fish and it is in the box. 58 Striped Bass, 6 Blue Cat, and 1 happy group of fisherman. I guess I've still got it. After 11 days in the gulf. I had my doubts. Also.................
I had a cancelation for this Thursday. If you would like to pay money to come listen to my wise cracks, snide remarks, passive-aggressive comments, and maybe even build a box of fish. Healthy limit of Stripers this morning. I miss the ocean but at least these fish don't leave me battered and bruised.

CJ put Ricky and crew on a great box. The fishing has been kind of up and down a little lately. Today it was definitely up. Everything on live shad.

I've pulled off some great trips on some really tough days these past few weeks. Today I had a fish for each finger I'm holding up. Never got anything going. Just work work work. That's how it goes sometimes. Oh well. On to the next one.

We had to put in the work today but it made a nice pile in the end. Solid box fish and overs up to 27 inches.

Peyton covered me today so that I could handle a few matters. The past few days went like they were supposed to. Today the fish never showed up. CJ and Peyton threw them everything under the kitchen sink and ended up with a nice haul. Same group tomorrow for round 2.

As rare as a Bigfoot sighting. Gary actually outfished Blondie today. I am still in shock🤣.

2 boat trip with my little sonny boy Peyton today. We fished a 2 boat trip for Brad Goodwin and friends. The first few hours were the best and then we had to really put in work to pull it off. We brought in 88 Stripers and had a heck of a time doing it. They are always a fun crew. This was the first trip that Peyton and I have worked together with only just us two. Pretty special day all in itself. Off for Sunday and then right back at it in Monday.
