Yesterday we were lucky enough to be able to deliver thousands of donations of as part of our annual food drive to Casa de Amor. It's always a joy working with other communities around the valley together in giving back.
Thank you so much to the support of so many that helped make this drive a success! The employees at Heritage Lane donated over 1500 items and we had multiple large boxes filled by other communities. Special thanks to the following individuals and organizations.

Check out the whiteboard from our weekly Brain Injury Group! Residents with a diagnosis of traumatic brain injury learn about their injury and work on memory skills. One of our incredible psychotherapy groups to improve resident independence and quality of life!

Last week we were lucky enough to be able to deliver thousands of donations of hygiene items, cleaning products, clothing, food, and other items to A New Leaf for Veterans month. They were very grateful for the generosity of all those involved in this effort. Our donations will go to the veterans and families directly affected this past year and all they have done for us.

Heritage Lane is participating in a pilot program with the Arizona Humane Society! We are making blankets and toys for the cats and dogs there and will be visiting every other month to drop off made blankets and pick up more supplies! Next month they will be visiting our facility with some furry friends!
