June proved to be a highly successful month of engagement!
We had the opportunity to host several community caterings, which not only allowed us to cook delicious meals but also provided a platform for networking within our community.
Additionally, as a chef and entrepreneur, I was able to use my platform to share my experiences and offer guidance to others who are pursuing their own dreams.

In May, there were many reasons to celebrate! From catering for proms to promoting black businesses with HeartMedia, and an extravagant senior gala, I had the opportunity to create unforgettable memories. These moments fill me with gratitude for the opportunity to cater to such special occasions.

Once again, Meals on Wheels has outdone themselves! The Senior Gala was an absolute blast, featuring a stunning celebration filled with live music, captivating performances, talented chefs, a fun photo booth, and so much more. They dressed to impress and enjoyed our Cajun Cafe sliders and Bayou. And of course, there was plenty of dancing! We extend a heartfelt thank you to Meals on Wheels for partnering with us and for their continuous dedication to supporting our seniors.

Being a black business during Black History Month is a powerful opportunity to celebrate and honor the achievements of black entrepreneurs. It is a time to showcase our resilience, creativity, and contributions to the business world. December was a fantastic way to end the year! We had a lot going on, with holiday buffets, delicious small bites, & plenty of dancing. And to top it off, we were thrilled to be featured by CBS Chicago, spreading the word about Dream Vaults—a collaboration between Dion's Chicago Dream and Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL. I am so amazed with everyone we’ve connected with & so happy with the relationships that have been created through food & culture.
