AD: Acer Canada sent me over the Chromebook Spin 514 to try out and I love it! It's such a workhorse and doesn't slow down even when I have 40+ tabs open (I know I know, but I can't help it) because of the AMD Ryzen™ 3 3250C Mobile Processor with Radeon™ Graphics. It's also super easy to travel with because of the 360-degree convertible mode that is a space
saver, as well as a great way to watch Netflix on your lunch break! Shh! I won't tell if you won't. If you're in the market for a solid new computer, check out the Acer Chromebook Spin 514

Did you know that half the population spends 2,300 days on their period in their lifetime?! So why is there such a huge stigma and shame surrounding the conversations about it?
I’ve partnered up with Modibodi to redefine how we talk about our periods and bodies. There is nothing gross about our natural bodily function and I implore you to swipe and watch ‘The New Way To Period’ and challenge yourself to open a dialogue about periods.
I’ve been using Modibodi un**es for almost a year and I cannot believe I had 8 years of periods before finding them! Modibodi allows me to feel confident and comfortable when I am on my period.
Gone are the days of super thick sweatpants just in case I bleed through, changing my sheets to dark colored ones just in case, not sitting on my nice furniture or running to the bathroom every 2 hours to double check.
As someone who has 6-7 day periods that are EXTREMELY heavy for more than half of it, I am over the moon that Modibodi exists. I wish I had them when I was first starting my period because it would have opened me up to be so much more comfortable and not restrict my activities for an
ENTIRE WEEK every single month. CRAZY.
Not to mention the amount of waste that I have reduced surrounding my period. It’s astonishing how much waste is produced from pads and tampons and if you’re looking for a more sustainable option, Modibodi un**es are the way to go.
Let’s start taking pride in what our bodies were created to do and normalize conversations about periods.
ps. Modibodi has donated over 20 THOUSAND pairs of un**es to people in need globally. Support companies that support communities.

I just realized that I never shared this blanket that I finished crocheting! I am so thankful that I’ve got a hobby that is so easily done from home and is very relaxing and de-stressing. We’re going into a little cold spell for California this week despite it being in the high 90s last week 😭 so I’m breaking my blankets back out and cuddling under them while Patrick and I watch all of the Spider-Man movies ever made and are ranking them! We’ve made our way through all of the Tobey Maguire movies and half of Andrew Garfield ones. I’m looking forward to the Tom Holland films as his is my favorite portrayal of Spider-Man. Which one is your favorite ?? I’m sure Patrick will debate with you in the comments!!
If anyone plays Animal Crossing: New Leaf, send me your friend code and I’ll add you and send mine! It’s been a great way to pass time (I sent little timers for myself so I don’t play for hours and hours because it’s so fun)
How have you been passing the time at home lately??

I painted these cute lemon and orange nails and just had to share them! Today it’s 90 degrees and i am LOVING this blue sky and warm breeze.
I followed tutorial for these nails and it was so helpful!

Happy !! Here’s some of my favorite pictures of this Earth. I try not to keep my phone out when and I are in nature so there’s many more beautiful photos stored in our memory banks. I’m so thankful for this Earth and it’s beauty and function. And I’m so thankful I have a partner who loves to explore it with me. If you swipe, the fifth photo is the very first photo we ever took together on a hike 😍❤️
Just a reminder while we are in quarantine that even if we can’t travel, it doesn’t mean we ant appreciate our Earth and it’s beauty. A simple walk in the neighborhood looking at sky and the clouds ☁️, smelling the grass and flowers 🌸, being thankful for the oxygen we are provided everyday. You don’t need pretty travel photos, or long vacations far away. A simple hike/walk is always enough 💚

Throwback to the sweetest little bench in the sweetest little square in a very HOT Savannah, Georgia last year. There are definitely some things that are hard about quarantine for us. We are a couple that really likes to go out and do things and obviously we are limited to just walks in the neighborhood. But we’ve really found a whole new aspect of life together.
Our communication has SKYROCKETED, it’s better than I could have ever dreamed so that’s a definite plus. I know a lot of couples are at each other’s throats right now and it’s a great time to instead come from a place of peace and talk through it.
With all this talk about animal crossing and time on our hands, got us a 3DS and we have had LOADS of fun picking out games to play and reminiscing on childhood fun.
We have also been blowing through shows like crazy. Leave suggestions in the comments. These are the ones that i have/we have watched: Vampire diaries&originals, Ragnorak, Tiger King, Mcmillions, Love is blind, all the Marvel Movies, and most QUIBI shows!

Let's take this Sunday to really think and be mindful about what is going on. With everything up in the air, not seeing or knowing an end can be scary and feel like it's out of control.
So let's focus on what we CAN control.
Ourselves.
Patrick shared with me this great video about a woman talking about how throughout her 25 year marriage, she and her husband go through the whole day telling the other person what they like or appreciate about the other person. Showing them that those little efforts are noticed all day long. It makes their conflict so much less so.
And I love that idea and I think we can use this time to do that with everyone in our lives, not just our partners.
"Hey, I really appreciate you giving me time right now, thank you for calling me or texting me so often."
"That recipe you shared with me made me feel so special because you knew exactly what I would like. Thank you for caring."
"Thank you for letting me vent, and praying with me after."
In a time where we don't have much control over outside things, let's turn to the inside and take this time to carve out a space of gratitude and share that with those we love.
Everyone could use that.
My face when says he has peach yogurt in the fridge 🍑🥣😍 delicious
I have been crocheting up a storm and doing puzzles galore since staying home. Patrick and I have watched almost every single Marvel movie, I think we have only three or four left!! And then we’ve got to find something else to blow through with all this time! Leave suggestions of what you’re watching down below!
My clouds of happiness and positivity and I are here to share what we are doing in this time to keep calm and positive.
-Crocheting my heart away. 🧶 Now is a perfect time to do that craft that you’ve been coveting over on Pinterest. Make that sweater, create that vision board, paint that old dresser, hang that shelf! Keep your hands busy. ✍🏼
-Thank God for being in control, for giving us peace and love during this time. Pray for our world leaders, policy makers, small business owners, everyone out of work temporarily. Pray for peace for our people. Pray for wisdom. Pray for kindness and grace, that we are overwhelmed with it during these times.
-Give what you can. Buy gift cards to your favorite Etsy shop or hair dresser if you can. Give a few dollars to the person standing on the side of the road. Because most of all, it’s kindness that we need most.
-Call your family. Call your friends. Talk to them. Ask how they’re doing. What they have decided to do with their time. Pray with them. Laugh with them. Joke with them.
-Watch the movies you’ve been meaning to watch! and I have been making our way through all of the Marvel movies, high school musical and camp rock series. I think next we might do toy story and lord of the rings. Throw your suggestions in the comments below!
-Get creative with your cooking. There is a wealth of information online about pantry meals. Pinterest is one of my go-tos but there are also websites where you can input the food you have and it will give you recipe ideas that include those foods! A few that we use are Supercook and MyFridgeFood!
Tell me what you’re doing in your home during this time of rest.
I can’t believe it’s already halfway through March?? Where is the time going? Let’s all take a breath and spend this Wednesday being intentional with our time and thoughts. Not letting the day blow past us but instead cherishing it and being thankful that we have today, that we have breath in our lungs and love in our hearts. The world can be so scary at times and I think it’s even more important now than ever to take every single day, slow it down and just be grateful that the sun is shining and we are humans on earth.

Get yourself a friend who helps you out last minute and is awesome and a boyfriend who is uber talented and supports you endlessly 🥰🥰🥰 feeling very blessed and grateful
81 degrees here so I’m breaking out the bathing suit 🥰 finally!!! 😎 what’s the temperature today where you live?
Spent Valentine’s day with my forever Valentine in a wonderful blanket/sheet fort complete with heart balloons and many many chocolates.
I could spend hours trying to describe how grateful and blessed I am that God brought me Patrick.
But I want to share that it’s out there for you. For all my ladies that are single or in the wrong relationship and know it but don’t want to leave.
Do. Not. Settle.
There is a man out there for you. Who will spend two hours building a fort so you can have the most relaxing and sweet Valentine’s Day.
Who will drive an hour and a half to get the most perfect kitchen table just because you feel drawn to it.
Who will spend hours in the middle of the night painting a box for you to keep all your treasured memories in.
Who will draw a comic of your life together because they know it will make you cry with happiness.
Who will go out of their way to get yellow flowers because they know it’s your favorite color.
Who knows you. Because they listen. Because they care. Because they cherish you and know that the little things over the entire year are how they show their love, not just one day.
Don’t settle. There is a Patrick out there waiting for you.

Starting off January with one of our favorite dates, cooking! I've partnered with to share how amazingly easy and convenient dinner can be! and I got to have a wonderful date night cooking and dancing in the kitchen without the hassle of grocery shopping after a long day! I choose a yummy chicken and pasta recipe with ingredients that were already portioned out and might I say, very yummy.
I am a pretty picky person with my food and sometimes have a hard time branching out. So when I saw that this recipe had me put cream cheese in pasta... I was like.. Okay HelloFresh, I'm gonna trust you and this better be delicious and wow, I was amazed. It really helps me open up my horizons and try food combos or recipes that I otherwise would never try. It's a MUST for 2020.
You can use my code MANDALYNNCARLSON10 to get 10 free meals off your first month of HelloFresh! (Purchase Required) or click the link in my bio and the code will automatically be applied.
As we keep moving in 2020, let’s keep being authentic and open. We’ve been giving this wonderful connection tool with social media and so many of us use it to front or pretend our life is something it’s not or edit our bodies to be the way we think it should look. Don’t lose sight of your authenticity and worth and knowing that you are enough.
Stop sugarcoating your instagram. Be open and honest. Post that photo where your hair is a mess or you don’t have on makeup or you don’t like the way your left leg looks in that pair of jeans. How about we post about our actual lives? Instead of the fake ones we pretend are real on social media so that we don’t have to open up and be real with people on our daily lives about our struggles and shortcomings. Let this app foster real friendships and relationships.
