L&B’s DESIGN PROCESS- At the beginning of every project we take the time to ensure we understand the deliverables, gather pictures and measurements as well as information about you, your lifestyle and the functionality you need in your home. We then review the possibilities for your floor plans, cabinetry, colours, suggested materials and fabrics.

From there, we build out your plan and prepare for your design presentation! Once we've met with you and presented this initial plan, we head into the revisions phase - this is where we take your feedback and refine the plan and designs until we get your sign off!

After that, we look after absolutely everything from booking trades to ordering all necessary supplies and furnishings for your project.

During our renovations, we will oversee the trades, answer questions and ensure the project stays on track. We will keep you informed, every step of the way!

New week means new design board here at L&B! I have been working on this pretty masculine office with it’s dark moody palette. Bringing together the warm tan leather and smoky wood and charcoal finishes has my client all excited!

THREE✨YEARS!!!

Can you believe it? Because I sure can't!
It's official! Today I am celebrating 3 years in business!

The past 3 years have been some of the best and hardest at times of my life, but I wouldn't trade it for anything! I am so happy to still be here and so grateful for all my friends, family & clients that have supported and challenged me to keep going.

I haven't decided yet how I'm going to celebrate this milestone and I'd love to hear your suggestions!

We are one week behind but up for the task. The One Room Challenge is an 8 week event where designers transform one space and I have decided to redesign our master closet, or should I say my closet! As my husband has his own individual closet that we will tackle at a later date.

It’s been so cold and foggy here in Colorado these last few days, I thought I would bring some warmth and inspiration to you this Friday morning!

Hi guys! Sorry I was MIA for a few weeks, my family and I just back from a much needed vacation! But we are back and ready to kick off this busy design season! With that said, let’s talk paint. 🎨

Paint is the most effective and budget friendly way to completely transform your space! Spring and Summer are a perfect time to start home improvement projects. Here are some helpful tips to pick out a great paint color!

1️⃣ Take your time - leave a 12 x 12 adhesive color swatch on the wall for a few days, move it around several places. Remember colors will look different based on the lighting in your home.

2️⃣ Consider your home decor - make sure the paint color or colors work well with your existing furniture, light fixtures and window treatments.

3️⃣ Try something bold - don’t be afraid to try a bold color In a small section of your home like and accent wall, ceiling in your dining room or your home office!

4️⃣ Timeless colors - if you want to play it safe you can never go wrong with neutral colors, like soft grays, blues or off whites. These tones tend to work well in most home settings.

Today I wanted to kick off with drapery, it is all the rage now and we have been very busy these last few months designing custom drapery for our clients homes!

1️⃣You want to mount draperies close to the ceiling to add height to your space.

2️⃣For larger windows it’s preferable to use heavier fabric to ensure the drapery will keep the shape and ripple in a beautiful wave.

3️⃣If you want to let more light in and visually broaden the windows, hang drapes on hardware that is positioned beyond the width of the window to fully expose the windows natural light and your space!

Styling a coffee table can be tricky, you want it to look effortless but practical at the same time. Play with a variety of shapes: a stack of books, a tray and a bowl with some greenery does the trick!🌿
