Dystorchestra - Burn It Down (Lyric Video)
Welcome, dear reader, to the inaugural post! We have three very large announcements to commemorate this joyous occasion.
Announcement 1: We are pleased to officially introduce ourselves publicly to the world. We are an original, progressive metal band called Dystorchestra from Louisville, KY. The band is comprised of six long-time veterans of the Louisville music community and we have been working on this project for quite a while. Please like, follow, and subscribe!!
Announcement 2: We are overjoyed to announce the release date of our debut album, "Deus Ex Machina, Pt. 1". The album is the first part of a two-part original concept and is scheduled to release on January 15, 2021, on all download/streaming services. It will be available for pre-order starting January 1st. More information on the release and the concept will be made available here, and on our website (www.dystorchestra.com) leading up to the official release.
Announcement 3: Lastly, we are pleased, overjoyed, AND quite proud to announce the release of our first single from the upcoming album in the form of an official Lyric Video. The track is titled "Burn It Down". We sincerely hope that you enjoy it and we ask that you share it like crazy! 🙂

Music on a mission.
The members of Dystorchestra are very passionate about music, art, and the complete freedom of creative expression. This band was formed out of a deep desire to push our artistry as both individuals and as a group. The goal of the band being to push ourselves past our own abilities to become stronger musicians, better artists, and more proficient storytellers through all avenues we have available to us.
The Debut Album
Deus Ex Machina: Part I is the first part of a two part concept album. The story is a pre-apocalyptic story that finds the world in another major world war that has ripped society apart and is spiraling to what will be the “end-of-times”. The story follows two brothers that represent the far corners of opposing human-nature and the lengths they will go to protect what is most important to them, despite the repercussions and some times, in-spite of them. The events highlight what is perceived in the story to be a cycle that man-kind is unable to escape, sometimes, even in the face of deliberate warnings.
