A CATALYST CONVERTING CO2 INTO REUSABLE FORMS OF CARBON

In contrast to traditional CO2 reduction that uses chemical methods at high temperatures with a high demand of extra energy, electrochemical CO2 reduction reactions can be performed at room temperature using liquid solution. And the electricity required for electrochemical CO2 reduction can be obtained from renewable energy sources such as solar power, thus enabling completely green processes.

ẞ ARRESTIN 2 AND OVARIAN CANCER
Prognostic impact of ß arrestin 2 and its functional role in ovarian cancer was elucidated. Results showed that high ß arrestin 2 expression levels correlated with high grade serous histology and expression of gonadotropin receptors FSHR and LHCGR, membrane estrogen receptor GPER, hcgẞ and impaired prognosis. Thus, reflecting ß arrestin 2 role in modulating GPCR- induced proliferative and anti adoptic signals and may serve as prognostic factor.

It's Official: A Brand-New Human Organ Has Been Classified 23/01/2018

YOUR BODY NOW HAS AN EXTRA ORGAN

Thats wat J Calvin Coffey, a researcher from the University Hospital Limerick in Ireland quote it ...

Researchers have classified a brand-new organ inside our bodies, one that's been hiding in plain sight in our digestive system this whole time. Known as the mesentery, the new organ is found in our digestive systems, and was long thought to be made up of fragmented, separate structures. But recent research has shown that it's actually one, continuous organ.

SIMPLE METHOD MEASURES HOW LONG BACTERIA CAN WAIT OUT ANTIBIOTIC:-
A simple test that measures how long it takes to kill bacteria could help doctors treat strains that are on their way to becoming resistant to antibiotics. If implemented in hospitals' microbiology labs, the test could help guide treatment decisions, and could ultimately reduce the ever-growing risk of bacterial resistance.

Experimental sickle cell disease drug gets PRIME status - PharmaTimes 01/07/2017

FIRST POTENTIAL TREATMENT FOR SICKLE CELL DISEASE (SCD) :-

SCD is a lifelong inherited blood disorder caused by a genetic mutation in the beta-chain of haemoglobin, which leads to the formation of abnormal haemoglobin which binds together to form long, rigid rods within a red blood cell.
Global Blood Therapeutics’ GBT440 has become the first potential treatment for sickle cell disease. GBT440 is being developed as an oral, once-daily therapy for SCD. The drug works by increasing haemoglobin's affinity for oxygen, which the firm (European Medical Agency) believes will prevent ‘sickling’ of red blood cells and potentially modify the course of the disease.
