Please keep the friends of Elena Tregnaghi in your thoughts and prayers. They are in the area of Italy struck by the earthquakes. Thank you.
I'm in deep like with his nature photography, but it's the squirrels that win my heart. :)

I've been thinking a lot about what form the book will take. I think I have decided it will be best to highlight a number of photographers per book (say, 5?), each photographer getting a full spread, and all the images in each book having something in common. For instance, two photographers I would love to put together in the inaugural book are Dave Mathis and Kim Leuenberger. Both of them do gorgeous photography of miniatures/toys. Yes, toys. And they are awesome. I'm currently considering others to put with them, like Francesco Romoli , who does wonderful photos of what he calls paper towns. If you would like to be considered, please query [email protected] with a link to your photographs.
Best,
Jenie
Dear Contributors & Photographers:
I am considering converting 5x5 to book series, instead of magazine. (Everything else will remain the same, I will just trade the ISSN for an ISBN.) Mostly because putting out 3 issues a year on my own is just too much for one person to handle. I would like to hear your thoughts on this matter, and I would really appreciate your honest feelings. 5x5 is nothing without you, and it exists to showcase your work.
Thank you,
Jenie
Happy Birthday to contributor Brenda Stumpf of Brenda Stumpf Photography!
