So cozy, fresh, and new like this 2022.
Which I totally hope is going be so much better than the last couple of weeks at home! Everyone was sick after our return back, so we were home all together pretty much until this last Thursday. The number of students missing out in the playfield at school pickup was pretty crazy, I feel for all my fellow parents during this time and having to also bear through virtual school. My daughter's class went virtual for a week and Kindergarten on Teams is well, definitely the same as the IRL experience. I hope to never repeat this!

First self portrait of 2022, not here. Pretty sure kiddo destroyed the hard copy but I did get a nice album of printed photos from the holiday break. Which reminds me that if you're looking for a project to zen out on, go through your phone photos and choose your top 100. Then print em! Like don't overthink it if you don't have to. you can always add them to a scrapbook or put them photo boxes. Main point is to have them and spend time looking at them. Sending them to your loved ones. Speaking as a mom, getting photos in the mail is always great.

We are back home after a very CHILL holiday with our family. Annnd they cancelled school today for all SPS, fun times. Here's to an early bedtime, no illness, and lots rest this week for us all!

Double post kind of day. Happy Son's Day! This little dude is quite silly, a true Mama's boy, articulated and has deep thoughts + questions about the world already at age 3. He is also the best cuddler, ever! Even more grateful to have two amazing kiddos I get to help teach to be cool adults.

BRING ON THE FALL! and some color, no thanks to muted tones. What a beautiful and varied weekend, yeah? Now to go finish my last weeks' worth of galleries and get some sleep. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead and some time to start bringing out those fall sweaters soon.

First Day of Kindergarten, and yay! to being in-person. Super happy girl today to be with other kids and to learn new things with some really nice teachers in Kindergarten-First Grade mix. Excited to see how many cool new things and concepts she may pickup this year.

A very special congratulations to these two, a very cool couple that I am elated got to celebrate their love today with a very chill and beautiful celebration. Several reschedules, a toddler, vaccines, and a lot of flexibility in making this day finally happen.💘
