I FINALLY got the right texture and consistency for these dark chocolate muffins. Happy dance! I tried a different technique! Used warm milk and some good espresso and and went really slow.

Baking from scratch allows you to manage the sugar intake. You can satisfy your chocolate craving without all the sugary frosting. Oh, and you get to skip the butter. You don’t need it.

Dark chocolate has antioxidants, flavonoids, iron, magnesium, and zinc. I think dark is the way to go! 🙂

This sauce is delicious. It’s a cross between good-tasting soy sauce and slightly sweet barbecue sauce. Great on fish, fried rice, or veggies. It’s almost like a teriyaki sauce but definitely not as sweet. I’ve been using this sauce because the ingredients are clean, and it’s a quick way to jazz up vegetables.

Friends, Guiltless Yummies will not be at the Niceville Farmers Market the next few weeks, as I lost my stepdad unexpectedly. The only hope is that he was a man who served God and his community until the very end.

Let’s pause and remember those who gave their lives so we can have our freedom.
