BASIC Ministries

I love Christmas. It shows how far God is willing to go to intervene in a desperate situation. This week I prayed for a child I know who is in a seemingly hopeless situation. I feel helpless to intervene and prayed for God to do so. He reminded me how the ultimate intervention in the most desperate situation came in the form of a child. The dictionary defines intervene as "to come between so as to prevent or alter a result or course of events." The result of mankind's sin was hopelessness and death, but God intervened. He came down in the form of man to set himself between us and result of our sins. He changed the course of events for all who believe. Whatever desperate or seemingly hopeless situation you may encountering, remember, He is God who intervenes. Merry Christmas!

TIME OF LOSS AND TRANSITION
Summer 2019
Since the death my father, Henry Pulsifer, on Thanksgiving morning, Brothers and Sisters in Christ Ministries has been going through a time of transition. Moving through such a great loss has not been easy. My father asked before he died that I take over as the head of the ministry. I have been honored and humbled to have the responsibility passed to me. I am confident this is what God is calling me to do. I plan to continue the ministry with the same passion and love for God. My father’s call was evangelism and discipleship. This is what led him to write the Bible study series that is available in many languages so that people all over the world have access to basic Bible teaching. These Bible studies will continue to be made available online. God’s call on my life has always been focused on helping at risk children. My father wanted me keep the Bible studies available while encouraging me to take the ministry in the direction that God leads me to. I have spent the last several months praying and seeking God’s guidance in what the next steps are for the ministry. I am also preparing by training to receive my ordination as a chaplain with the International Fellowship of Chaplains (IFOC). I attended the training course this summer and am currently completing the application process. My father was a chaplain with IFOC, and encouraged me to become one as well. The training has better prepared me to help people in need, and I am looking forward to opportunities to put what I learned into practice.
Thank you all so much for your support and prayers during this difficult time of transition. I know that you will be encouraged and excited as I am to see what God does next with BASIC Ministries.

ACKNOWLEDGE GOD IS IN CHARGE!!

Until we admit that God is in charge of all that is happening in our lives we will not be able to properly deal with the bad things that come our way.

Bad things come from satan. Sometimes they come simply because God leads us into satan’s territory to defeat him and establish God’s Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven. Sometimes they come because there are things in our lives that do not please God and leave us open to the enemy’s attacks. God allows these attacks so we can overcome the devil and become more like Jesus. Only by understanding that God is in charge can we properly deal with the bad things that come our way and have the victories God wants us to have.

Question: Have you acknowledged that God is in charge of all that’s happening in your life?

WHY THE FORT WORTH CROSSWALK, MAY 24-26?

God has promised to give us the places our feet walk as we follow Him. One of the things God has led me to do over the years is to carry a cross and intercede for God's Kingdom to come to the places and nations he sends me to. This especially applies to the places where I live. Since I live in Fort Worth, God put it on my heart to begin my new season of cross-walking here. My grandson Ricardo joined me as we walked from my home to City Hall. Here are a few pictures from the walk.

We finished the walk at the Ft. Worth City Hall and spoke the things of The Kingdom over the city.

My grandson Ricardo and I are walking to Ft. Worth City Hall praying for God's Kingdom to come and His will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. People continue to stop and tell us how blessed they are to see us walking.

Crosswalk Day 1

Walking and praying for the city of Ft. Worth where we live. Hearts were touched and saints encouraged in their walk with The Lord.

The Eternal Kingdom will last forever. Everything else of this world is temporary. The question we need to ask ourselves is, are we part of The Eternal Kingdom?

Please keep us in prayer as we begin walking with the cross Thursday, May 24. We plan to walk through Fort Worth praying for God's Kingdom to manifest itself and bring transformation to the city.

Pray for health, safety, protection, provision and God's anointing to flow.
