I've always found the beach on Whitefish Point in front of the Great Lakes Shipwreck museum in the UP to be one of my favorite beaches for natural beauty.

Tahquamenon State Park in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is broken down into the "Upper" and "Lower" falls. As big and majestic as the upper falls is, it's also the longest walk from the parking lot and on this trip, do to some rehab, I was kind of limited on walking distance.
I've always thought the collection of all the drops in the lower falls was more interesting and just as pretty.

It was my first visit to the Porcupine Mountains in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I had two nights and an entire day. And it never stopped raining. But even with overcast skies and non-stop rain, the beauty of Lake Superior and rocky shores, mixed in with rivers and waterfalls was still breathtaking.

I think I would visit Door County just for the sunsets....
