Brave Girls, Wise Souls
A teen girls life can be tough - I help to empower them to be their best self and see clearly through the bumps and challenges they face.
I have spent 26 years studying personal growth and coaching adult women in business. With two teenage girls of my own, I have learned how valuable these life coaching strategies, when modified, can be in the life of a teenage girl.
You're not inadequate or worthless,
you're not just what people see on the surface. You are so much more than that …and its okay to feel flat. You’re not a burden, you are a person. Never strive to be perfect… were all totally and utterly imperfect 💛 -

Confidence and self esteem are not only protection when mean words are thrown at us, but they also give us wisdom and an inner peace to not throw mean words at someone else. I help build confidence in girls. PM me if you’d like to find out more or go to www.amyschule.com for more info.

This is what I’m talking about!! The words we say to ourselves are the most important! Yes, you are AWESOME Arianna, and BEAUTIFUL and CREATIVE and DYNAMIC and.......💕💕
Ahhh....Friendships. 🥰When they are great, there is nothing better. But they can feel so confusing at times too..... this is a great ‘story’ about another way to think when things seem rough. ☺️Taking a few minutes to read this can make all the difference in protecting yourself from the unraveling of negative thoughts that might show up when a friendship doesn’t seem to be what you think it should be! Enjoy!!!!💐
Maybe she’s blowing you off. Maybe she’s a bad friend. Maybe she is keeping you in her back pocket for a rainy day. It’s entirely possible.
Or maybe she’s busy. Maybe her plate is completely full. Maybe she’s coping the best way she knows how. Maybe she’s stressed. Maybe she’s maxed out. Maybe stuff isn’t going her way, and she’s saving her energy.
Maybe she really did miss your text.
Maybe she is overwhelmed with homework, studying, clubs, sports, her job, family stuff, boyfriend stuff. Maybe she’s trying her best, but her best isn’t much right now. Maybe anxiety is getting in the way and rearing its ugly head, as it so often does.
Maybe it has nothing to do with you at all. Maybe it’s about her.
There are a million reasons she might be falling short. Maybe it really is that things have run their course. It’s a sad part of life, but it is, nonetheless, a part of life. Only you can make that call.
But, then again, maybe it’s something else. Don’t forget to give the benefit of the doubt. Don’t forget to cut her some slack. Don’t forget to forgive. Don’t forget sometimes friendship means loving each other through the tough seasons, and the rainy weather, and all the ups and downs.
May we hold each other in the good times and in the rough times even if that means giving space... I see you sister.
To those I have been too busy for - I love you, I’m sorry.
To those who have been distant from me - I love you, I understand.

"Since 2010/2011, America has seen a HUGE increase in depression and anxiety among teenage girls. The number of girls hospitalized for cutting or harming themselves is up 62% for older teen girls and 189% for pre-teen girls.😲 Su***de rates are also up - an increase of 70% since the first half of the century for older teen girls and up 151% in pre-teen girls. Coincidentally, that pattern points to..... SOCIAL MEDIA. GenZ (kids born after 1996), are the first generation who got on social media in middle school." Something to think about. I read this today in a book called One Degree Revolution by Coby Kozlowski: “I’ve come to think of social media as anything other than social. The bubble we create around our friends and followers can promote a singular viewpoint of reality, further isolating us from differences in opinions, and placing lots of emphasis on our own perspective as we stop listening to and engaging with others who don’t hold the same point of view. We seem to have abandoned looking for common ground. And in the extreme, we may allow our preferences to trump what would serve the greater good.”
