We had the opportunity to donate to Camarillo high school to help the Woodshop succeed in creating the worlds longest charcuterie board for .
Masterpiece Carpentry wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for middle school wood shop with Mr. Coryell at Lindero Canyon middle school. I actually elected and petitioned to the school for a 3rd year of Woodshop because I enjoyed it so much. Congrats and I hope some of your students leave with a passion for woodcraft and building.

It’s been a while since we’ve posted any updates on FB...weve been hard at work in Malibu working on a couple projects. Take a look at this Cypress ceiling in nickel gap T&G we are currently installing in Point Dume. Stay tuned for the completion.

It was a pleasure to build this beautiful Pergola to match an existing deck/patio attached to the main house. We used all exterior materials and provided a great team of carpenters to pull this off in time for move in day. I am always in awe of all the steps and trades it takes to pull off even a simple Pergola build. I’m grateful for these opportunities and the excellent carpenters on my team.

3 years ago I started my business and my family is where my main source of support comes from. It’s been a rollercoaster of challenges transitioning from an employed carpenter to business owner. Taking on a management roll and learning a whole new skill set has been difficult but very rewarding. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for my crew of hardworking Carpentry professionals and the amazing woodwork they perform daily. Today I am extremely grateful for taking this plunge and building something that is bigger than me and something that empowers my crew to continue to push. Thank you all for the support and let me know how I can provide the best millwork installations for your home or contracting business.

We are very excited to make a piece of furniture with reclaimed barn wood for .
The 4” x 4” legs were mitered with a full mortised stretcher to keep everything tight and square. All joinery was reinforced with solid floating beech tenons produced from the Domino XL.
We are beyond satisfied that our clients are happy and now have an entire room full of reclaimed lumber.

Getting back to this beautiful historic library in Los Feliz after wrapping up some millwork on the 2nd level. The house is over 100 years old and the Honduran mahogany cannot be sourced anymore. We are taking our time with layout and each cut all the while appreciating the craftsman who originally built this. It’s a wonderful restoration that we are grateful to be trusted with to build it back.

We love prepping doors with a view like this. We use track saws to create the proper bevel before routing our hinge pockets. This not only gives a clean consistent bevel but also establishes a perfectly straight Stile to work with.

This is the pool/game room in our recent Brentwood project. The framing and wall conditions were original to this house. We got creative with the architect and wrapped the exposed structural beams. We applied millwork to the ceiling/skylight/beams in order to establish a new level line and blend some awkward transitions. ⚒⚒⚒📐📐📐 🌞
