Highlighting this weekend’s specials (available in both locations) ☕️🧀🥖:

First up, our Ricotta Toast. Ricotta cheese with dill and freshly squeezed lemon, beets and alfalfa sprouts. Topped with an acacia honey glaze on the delicious .

We are also highlighting one of our new summer specials, which is a Maple Mint Spritz with fresh jasmine. We exclusively use maple syrup from Eckert Tree Farm and infuse it with fresh mint, jasmine and vanilla. It is shaken up and force carbonated to give you a refreshing bubbly drink. Garnished with an orange peel.

A video we made a couple of years back popped into our minds this morning. As we reflect on how much we’ve grown over the past twelve years, how our physical store has changed as well as our offerings, we also have stayed true to our beliefs. We are here to efficiently get you in and out the door to catch your train with the best cup of coffee. We’re so thankful for our customers who have been around for over a decade but also welcome our new customers with gratitude. Thank you for making us your Long Island cafe. Our seasonal specials have been updated on our website! This is our Rosewater Horchata.

Horchata is Mexico’s famous cinnamon-infused rice water drink. Our Horchata is made using a traditional Mexican style, adapted by Kookaburra. We make it with cinnamon, almonds, and Carolina Gold rice. Carolina Gold rice is grown sustainably in South Carolina, and is the only rice of it’s kind produced in the U.S. It is non-aromatic and because of it’s absorbing nature, it will bloom with the flavor of whatever it is mixed with. We mix these ingredients with house made rose water to develop a delicious floral yet creamy drink. It is refreshing and perfect for a warm spring day.

First up on our spring menu, our Birch Bark and Sage Latte. With this special, we were thinking of what spring means to us~ rejuvenation, an earthiness. Birch Bark has not only a great aroma but a wonderful mineral flavor that when mixed with sage creates an earthiness to us that is spring in a latte. It is also mixed with fresh cut ginger, lemon citrus, and a dash of vanilla. ☕️
