The idea for our women’s boxers had nothing to do with me. Originally I was trying to create a boxer for men with an insert to provide comfort and support. This design took me over 3 years to make until I finally got it right. I had some samples made and the sizing was way off. One day my wife wanted to change into something comfortable and threw on a pair of Little Ricky’s boxers. She wore them a
ll day and said “You have to make Little Ricky’s for women!”
We changed the entire focus of the company. Our goal is to provide women with comfortable boxers they can wear anywhere without underwear. After years of delays (look up the 2008 economy...) we rebranded the company and have a full line of women’s boxers with our patented design. During this process we wanted to create a women’s tank-top to compliment the boxer. I noticed when women wore sports bras they were hard to put on and left a deep elastic band mark around their body. I thought, “Why can’t women wear tank-tops with support
and comfort without elastic marks and without having to wear a bra?”
We went back to work! After a year of multiple design changes and uncomfortable prototype’s we created the perfect tank-top. Our patent-pending line of Little Ricky’s tank-tops give you the support you need without elastic marks. The interior panel design allows you to wear them anywhere without the risk of “exposure”!
