Like every elk season, archery must come to an end. The sun sets on Brush Mountain tonight, a little more quiet, but a lot more full.
Full of the memories made over the last month with our skilled guides, our savvy hunters, and the trusty but wild staff.
Where everyone might start off as strangers, but in the end, you are family.
Thank you to everyone that makes hunting seasons happen at Brush Mountain. From the owners, Mike and Judy who started it all 30 years ago. Tony, our steadfast leader. Our guides, Andy, C.J., Cody, and Nick, and their families who take over the homefront to allow them to be at Brush during the seasons. Our cooks and front of house, Lori and Keri, who always keep it interesting. Javier and Selena who take care of the details…
And most importantly, YOU, our hunters. You set aside your lives, your stress, your work, your family…all to spend it with us. Working hard to fill your freezer and provide for your family. Taking time to make memories with your children, grandchildren, lifelong friends and your fathers. Hiking thousands of steps to be with nature and all of its beauty. All for the love of the hunt. Thank you. Thank you for making what it is today. ❤️

It’s a beautiful day

Sometimes, “the girls” get called in to do search and recovery. One of our hunters shot and lost this bull 8 days ago(as can happen in archery). It was never found. Until today. found it with her wild sense of smell. won her bet, and Tony, Andy, and Nick won’t ever live it down. A special shout out to for searching skills.

A father/son hunt hits differently when you watch your 16 year old fill his tag on beautiful fall morning at Brush Mountain. Westin pulled this one down at 30 yards on Upper Pucker (iykyk) with Nick on the bugle.
