Congrats to the Fostering Learning, Identity, and Participation within Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (FLIP-STEM) team, led by Friday Institute Faculty Fellow Jessica Hunt along with Friday Institute's Executive Director Krista Glazewski, Research Scholar Amy Walter and MSEN Director Braska Williams, for being selected to receive an NC State University University Foundation Grant. This grant will enable the team to partner with the North Carolina Math/Science Education Network (NC-MSEN) Pre-College Program to provide design-justice-infused data science experiences for students and teachers through weekend workshops hosted in collaboration with the NC State Data Science Academy.
