Worcester Yellow Cab is excited to announce that we have added wheelchair accessible taxis to our fleet and the service is now available. Individuals in need of accessible taxi service can call our main phone number 508-754-3211 to book trips. Currently accessible taxi trips can not be booked through our mobile app, when that becomes available we will let you know.
Advanced booking is preferred, but instance response service is also avialable. Questions about accessible taxi service can be emailed to [email protected].
We have finally completed the update to our smart phone app. All current users please update to the newest version 2.2.10. This new version has many added featured and will be compatible with all the newest I phones and Android operating systems. For those of you who have not tried it yet or had compatibility issues please go to either the App Store or Google Play and try it now. Just search for Worcester Yellow Cab and download the free app.
We have recently been informed of an issue with our mobile apps. New users were able to download app, but when attempting to book a ride they were being prompted to call for service. This glitch has been corrected. Anyone who had this problem should now be all set to use app without reinstalling.

Reminder to everyone, smart phone app is up and running. Serveral people are using it and we are getting great feedback. Go to the App Store or Goggle play and search for Worcester Yellow Cab to find it. Only takes a couple of minutes to install and you can place orders with just a few clicks. Best feature is you can watch the vehicle as is approached on your phone to see when it arrives. No waitng for phone to be answered, no busy signals or waiting on hold. Also no recalls for status updates everything with just a few clicks.
Smart phone app is now available on the I phone. To download free app just do a search for Worcester Yellow Cab in the app store. Andriod app has been up for about a week and working great. Never get a busy signal or have to wait on hold again, order directly from your smart phone no call needed.
For Android users when you go to Google Play you can find the app just by doing a search for Worcester yellow Cab.
The Android version of the Yellow Cab smart phone app is now available at Google Play. This is a free download that will allow you to request immediate pick ups or schedule trips in advance. You will get estimated fares aswell as confirmation emails and receipts. You will also be notified when a car is assigned to your trip and can watch on a map as vehicle approaches to see when it has arrived at your location. For those of you with IPhones, Apple is in the process of final approval before posting app in the app store. We will let you know when it is completed. I know we said a while ago that smart phone app was almost ready, but had some delays. We have recieved the actual apps for both I-phone and Droid and are working correctly now. Should be ready for the public very shortly. Sorry for the delay, we just want to be sure everything is in order first.
