Liberty County Property Appraiser The Property Appraiser is an elected county officer, as established by Article VIII of the Constitution of the State of Florida. Her duty is to determine the value of all property within the county, including improved and vacant real property, tangible personal property, and agricultural property.

Please be advised that the 2020 TRIM Notices for Liberty County were mailed out on Monday, 8/24/2020.
The TRIM Notice, otherwise referred to as "Notice of Proposed Property Taxes" is provided to inform taxpayers which governmental agency is responsible for taxes levied and the amount of tax liability owed to each taxing entity. Further, this notice enables the taxpayer to compare the prior year assessed value and taxes with present year assessed value and proposed taxes, including the amount of taxes owed. Other information included in the notice are the dates and times of the scheduled public hearings.
Due to COVID-19, some of the taxing authorities have elected to hold virtual public hearings or hearings via teleconference. For up to date hearing information, please visit our website.

If you experienced property damage as a result of Hurricane Michael, and this damage was not repaired by January 1, 2019, please notify our office at (850) 643-2279 to report the damages.
