The neoprene dog vest is a good way to gain an extra month of training in spring. And to protect them while hunting sloughs. You can swim your dog in some pretty cold temps if it's wearing the vest. Tom Dokken recommends a vest made out of thinner neoprene 3 mm because they stretch more easily than the thicker ones. The point of having your dog wear it is to keep him warm, so you don't want air space between his body and the material.

PART-TIME Kennel Assistants wanted. Dokken’s Oak Ridge Kennels has a variety of shifts available for afternoons and weekends. We care for and house dogs for boarding with an average number of 40-90 dogs on hand at all times. Duties include cleaning kennels, walking, bathing, feeding and medicating these dogs. Applicants must be comfortable handling a variety of dog breeds as well as working both indoors and out during all seasons.
