This week I was blessed with a couple of Green Chile dishes made by one of my regular customers after she picked up her chile Saturday. It is tasty and nice and spicy!! I ended up roasting Monday and Tuesday and put a bow on it until next season.
Thank you all for coming out yesterday to support the Arizona Chile Festival and our local small businesses. We had a fantastic turnout!
The phrase “it takes a village” truly came to life yesterday, with many local businesses coming together to make this event a success. A special thank you goes out to The Goodman Taylor Team, Precision Auto Body Chandler, Ahwatukee411 Media, Cuties Lemonade & More, South Mountain Auto Detail, Holiday Lights Phoenix, and Mak Pack Dog Training and Boarding. We also want to extend our gratitude to all the vendors and food trucks who served our guests throughout the day. We could not have done this without our host Mountain Park Church. This event raised funds and awareness for Hope for the Homeless, AZ and local and global outreach.
We appreciate your patience as some of you waited in line for roasted chile under the Arizona sun. We apologize for any delays caused by unforeseen circumstances that led to longer wait times and eventually pausing new orders.
If you’re still eager to get freshly roasted green chile, I’ll be roasting tomorrow at The Buzzed GOAT Coffee Company in Ahwatukee starting at 8 am.
Thank you once again to everyone who attended and to those who helped make the festival possible. With no other Chile Festivals in Arizona, we hope to continue this tradition and build on what we’ve learned to make it even better next year.
