Vertical Reflexology Technique (VRT) is a unique method of weight-bearing reflexology which is briefly applied to the dorsal feet and hands. It is adaptable for the standing, seated and reclining client.
This multi award-winning method can support all systems of the body and appears to precisely target and stimulate the energetic reflex response.
It was discovered and developed by Lynne Booth in the early 1990’s and her accredited classes have been taught by her and her VRT tutors to over 10,000 reflexologists internationally.
Instead of giving a thing, give an experience! The gift of massage gives the opportunity for your loved one to relax and rejuvenate.

How Often Should You Get A Massage?
I often get asked how often someone should get a massage. My answer? It depends on a number of factors including your physical health, stress levels and your budget.
That being said, there are some guidelines to follow.
🤤Getting a massage once or twice a year is relaxing and helps calm the nervous system, improve circulation, relieve muscle pain, and help with pain management.
However, even the best massage isn’t a permanent fix. So find your situation below to determine how often you should schedule a massage.
😫• In chronic pain / special situations: We will need to discuss your personal situation to make an exact determination. However, to get you feeling better you might need to come weekly (or even twice a week). Call me to discuss the right treatment plan for you.
☹️• Feeling some muscle tension and stiffness: Typically, once every week or two is ideal for keeping your muscle tissue pliable and in good shape. Getting regular massages will loosen your muscles and relieve the tension and stiffness.
🙂• Feeling good: Once a month is the recommended minimum for maintaining the suppleness and pliancy of your muscle tissue. If you start stretching the time period between massages out too far, your muscles can revert to their old patterns, especially if you come under stress.
The key is to listen to your body. If you still aren’t sure, schedule an appointment and we can determine the best course for keeping you feeling great.
Manual Lymph Drainage is a gentle, non-invasive manual technique that is used to assist in lymph flow, aid in drainage of tissues and detoxify the body.
MLD is most often used in conjunction with Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) to treat chronic swelling from primary or secondary Lymphedema, but it can also be used to improve overall health. Keeping the lymphatic system in good condition is imperative for promoting good health, and for restoring good health when the system has been compromised through events such as surgery, injury or illness.
A MLD treatment is profoundly relaxing, as it calms the nervous system, reduces pain and restores balance. Stress and fatigue can weaken our immune system. When our immunity is low, we are more susceptible to viruses or other contagious conditions that might be going around. Manual Lymphatic Drainage can help strengthen the immune system.
MLD is also beneficial in situations where the nervous system has been compromised, such as with anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. Individuals can benefit from general stress reduction, detoxification and enhanced immune function.
Reflexology Lymph Drainage is a reflexology technique developed in Wales, United Kingdom, by Sally Kay. This technique was developed to help with Lymphedema swelling after treatment for breast cancer. This style technique is modeled after Manual Lymphatic Drainage which helps stimulate the removal of lymph and the function of the lymphatic system, by draining excess lymph from a damaged area.
Reflexology Lymph Drainage can be used for both primary and secondary Lymphedema clients. This reflexology technique has also been shown to be useful for clients who are dealing with non-cancer related issues such as Fibromyalgia; Rheumatoid Arthritis; Allergies; Headaches (migraines) and several other inflammatory type conditions.
