Remember, it is the law to yield to emergency vehicles as they approach. This means pulling off the roadway and onto the shoulder, coming to a complete stop. On July 3, 2023, a semi-truck failed to yield for an emergency vehicle, resulting in a multiple-vehicle crash and causing multiple fatalities. This video was captured on a dashcam from one of our patrol units that was yielding for an ambulance transporting a patient.

Deputy Anguiano stopped by Homecoming to give the MCHS cheerleaders a hand in getting the crowd to cheer.
