Well, the end of an era has arrived.
My last big shirt order went out the door this week. It was bittersweet for sure.
I started doing shirts and other crafty creations in the fall of 2017 for two main reasons. One was it was a stress relieving outlet. I was at a point as an educator that I was knocking on the door of burn out. I felt like I was losing my creativity in the world of education and needed some where to take it. Another was it was a great way to make some extra money. We were at a point where it was do something like this from home on my own schedule or get a part time job somewhere out of the home.
Doing shirts and other creations for the last seven years has been an absolute blessing for me. I have loved creating things for others and loved it even more when I saw my creations out and about. I tried my best to pray over a lot of the things I made. My ability to create is a gift from God and I wanted to make sure I wove my thankfulness for that gift back into what I sent out the door.
I am thankful for all of the friendships I made throughout these seven years. I have been challenged to take on projects I wasn’t sure I could handle, but I did and my skills became better because of them. I am thankful for all of the support as I turned a hobby into a side hustle and as I’ve transitioned it back to a hobby.
Right now I’ll still keep this page active because I love doing cheer bows for dance and cheer camp and who knows what else I may start having time for now that I’m finally done with my Master’s. I’m also still going to do small things for friends and family, but the original purpose of this gig isn’t there anymore and it’s time to move on to new things.
I truly mean it when I say THANK YOU for all of your support and love over the last seven years. I couldn’t have accomplished what I’ve accomplished without all of you!
