Although it may seem like a harmless trend on social media, posting pictures of kids holding signs that showcase details like their child's age, grade, school, and teacher. Privacy and security experts say parents and caregivers must know the inherent risks of sharing pictures and identifiable information online. 📸

We want to ensure that the start of the school year is safe. By being aware of the photos and details we are posting online, we can reduce the risk of our children’s personal details being used to exploit their safety and well-being. This post shows on one side a sign that reads, "First Day of School," which poses less of a safety risk, while the photo of the more detailed sign, with details about a child's classroom, grade, and favorite items, should be reserved for "family and close friends."

August is National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM), an annual observance highlighting the importance of getting recommended vaccines throughout your life.

We understand that there has always been, and will likely always be, discussion surrounding vaccination. We believe in the safety of vaccines and that children and young adults should receive all the recommended vaccines according to the schedules published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

To commemorate National Food Bank Day on September 6, CMG will host a food drive from August 22 to September 6 in our offices to benefit Dutchess Outreach .
