We are less than a week away from our FREE Benefit Concert (for the Maui Food Bank)! Thank you to EVERYONE who reached out and wanted to help. It looks like we are going to wrap up around 2pm Hawaii time (so about 5 hours). Sorry for some of the delay on things, I ended up fighting a nasty sinus infection last week and I am finally starting to feel a bit better. If anyone has sent us an email and has not received a response yet, please send it again and I'll make sure I get to it today and tomorrow.

Sarah Maisel, Lina Girl and I can't wait to kick off this incredible benefit concert with you all. We'll have a lot of thank you's but I'll start off with Pro Camera Hawaii, Easy Music Center and Analysis Plus Pro Audio for helping us gear up for this massive livestream. Special mahalo to Ala Moana Hotel for housing our off island artists and always supporting our events.

Yesterday we took a day trip to Maui. As expected it was a very intense and emotional experience.

We met with Jason Jerome of Lahaina Music, discussing all of the things he is doing for his ukulele community, from free performances to those displaced in shelters and hotels, to free ukulele lessons. He and his family have been working countless hours since the fires began and are still continuing to help everyone they come in contact with. It was amazing to hear and see everything firsthand.

We also met with Maui Food Bank, discussing the work they have been doing prior to and after the fires, giving us real time data on how many people are needing to be served, and reminding us of the trickle down effect currently happening due to joblessness (caused by the fires). That crew of people are absolutely amazing and inspiring.

We will be sharing all of this with you, and more, during our Livestream Benefit Concert, September 16.

Our Benefit Concert for Maui is going to be a true show of solidarity from our 'Ukulele Community and we couldn't be more grateful. We are officially 2 weeks out! Music & Meals for Maui has become much larger than we could have expected. Thank you to all of you who reached out and are donating their time and skills to make this happen. Thank you to those who bought workshop packets last week to help fund this event! Lina Girl, Sarah and I will be heading to Maui on Wednesday to sit down with Maui Food Bank to learn more about all the great things they are doing to help those affected by the fires.

Not only did we hit our 10K subscription goal to integrate the fundraiser directly into the livestream, but we had an outpouring of support from artists, companies and people in the community that want to help. It is with great joy and love that Sarah and I part with the U.K. The past two weeks have been absolutely phenomenal. Thank you to the Ukulele Festival of Scotland for having us and putting together such a memorable festival. We look forward to watching your beautiful vision grow. Your hospitality will stay with us for a very long time!

To the Ukulele Festival of Great Britain, it was such an honor and privilege to join the festivities one last time. You have helped shaped the Uke world in so many ways. We can never thank you enough for all you have done.

Thank you to all of our fans who made it to these wonderful festivals! Sarah and I hope to see as many of you again when we are back in October, as this will probably be our last trip to the U.K. for a while! We'll definitely share more tour info when we can :)
