My beautiful boy is home. ❤️🐶
After much thought, I have settled on which cute lil guy I’m bringing home! Looking forward to finally spending a dark scary winter with a warm soul by my side! Can’t wait to pick it up from
Whoever wrote songs with a lemon, and why am I being handed them? Really looking forward to a puppy.
Today is a day where I’ve finally felt like I have some breathing room to just... play music. I’ve been working around the clock building out my studio for music and teaching. I could not be any happier (well, technically I could) with the results. Thank you for the patience of everyone that has reached out about lessons. I’ll be getting back to you! Here’s something dumb in the meantime.
Been watching ‘s puppy Rhodesian Ridgeback this week as you may have already seen! Such a cute pup. Her name is Billie. I think he got the name from some holiday?
SUPES PROUD of one of my newer students .30!!! Amanda takes online lessons from me from Tucson Arizona. She does volunteer work in the ASL community. One common thing I find is that many people who desire to help the deaf community are amazing musicians. It makes sense, sign language - being such a beautiful, expressive language - it easily pulls in the artists. One of my joys is watching the wheels turn in her head and seeing her face light up while making connections during our ear training. Any guess to the song? Don’t cheat and look at the hashtags!
Recently, conscripted me into musical service for his lovely wife on their ten year anniversary day. If I was asked to saw my arm off, well... I might offer my right foot instead, but still a sacrifice right? Its been a wonderful privelege having known these two for over a decade. Amber is one of the most GENEROUS, and GENUINELY loving people I know (and perhaps will ever). Congratulations you two
Goodnight. Eyes filled with smoke today. Thinking of all my West Coast friends, and honestly - every human that has to exist in critical times. Love you all.
Allow me this moment to brag about ‘s sweet art skill. And a huge thanks for shaving 10 years off of me!
Thank you to the suggestions from my beautiful friends on Instagram - I now sing to my new Tomato Plant. It helps with growth. Or at least to write a cute little song... .hunter_

Too many screens lately. I’ve realized I’m getting less time to myself. I’ve been trying lately to attempt to wind down before bed and play guitar - get this guys.... for mySELF. Crazy, right? Lessons are busier than ever, and I’m absolutely grateful to each individual who has let me do something I love.
moment. I solemnly swear to not become your stalker. I owe so much inspiration to this human being. I wonder if he knows the depth of love and appreciation people have for what he does.
Oh why do you make me have to work harder on these videos. Let’s hear it for Jaxon’s progress on her first song!
I will be joining during his Instagram live concert this Friday! If you think I’m halfway decent, wait till you hear this guy. If you think I’m terrible, then definitely come to hear this guy!
We are constantly plagiarizing nature. Also: Space bubbles. From yesterday’s swi—errr, space float?
I'm gonna come out and say it - I was dead tired for this recording. Look at those eye bags! - - Oh yes, I like this song... Don't you? Also - didn't thing I had any more of these video didja?
“Hopefully no mistakes.” Today I would like to help strip off the false veneer of how some people perceive us “musicians” and “teachers.” I celebrate the messy process and so should you. Just sent this to ‘s kid. (Bentley) Just gonna leave this here.
I had the privilege of performing on one the most satisfying zoom concerts ever. No, this isn't me, but my good friend . He sang an amazing rendition of a song that's been dear to my heart. These lyrics take on a new meaning. You don't need to hear it from me that humanity is feeling a wide array pain and confusion. It was nice to have just one night - one night to experience a rush of love from over a thousand individuals that spanned multiple continents. Love ya'll.
At least August G Music believes in you! Child? Construction Worker? Carpet Cleaner? AGM is here to help you with your identity crisis!
My neighbor and I have recently started playing music 6 feet minimum) apart from each other.
I kerplopped on the couch after a day of teaching online. Here’s that view. I love it. I love my setup. Every student is wonderful. I’m always learning, and hopefully will always be teaching.
I feel honored to have captured this image of my neighbor, . Pace, for more than a month now, has been doing his “Sunset Serenades” in the parking lot near the Bellingham Municipal Court building. I remember my first time hearing the sounds of a solo trumpeter - I got in my car and followed my ear to see the lone trumpeter in an empty parking lot. Pace seemingly out of nowhere (I think from behind the bushes near his place) would show up just as fast as he would cautiously slip away after sounding the last note and humbly taking a quick bow. He strikes me as a shy and timid person, but I imagine I mostly get that because he is incredibly respectful and mindful of the consciences of others during the pandemic. I managed to take other photos of him, and as I approached inside his 15 foot bubble, I noticed an invisible force pushing him back. Like many others, he’s been laid off. He seems to be doing this for personal therapy, and knowing it inevitably to be therapy for others when they hear the promised melodies singing near sundown. He’s incredibly mild-tempered and unassuming in my brief interaction with him. I feel privileged to witness musical resilience in uncertain times.

Ya’ll show some applause for my online student . This kids voice will lull the ocean to sleep with his silky timbre(thats a pretentious musical term). He’s killin’ it on the barred chords!

One of my newest students! 🎹 Meet Bentley, from Westminster, Colorado. This kid is 11 years old, but sometimes I feel like I’m talking to a peer(that’s either complimenting him or insulting me?🧐) He is super intelligent and is taking direction like a champ. He played this after our first free session! Whaaaat?! Let’s hear it for Bentley, guys!
12 AM thoughts for all you beautiful people. Music is a gift that no one holds authority on except yourself. Others who are “good” and experienced have only been exploring and pioneering the tall grass in their own musical meadows. There’s a lot to learn from local teachers, and from the dead people who were truly phenomenal; HOWEVER, I encourage everyone to learn from someone who potentially can bring the most meaning to music - yourself. What sets a musician apart being known as halfway decent is someone who has not just spent a lot of time dedicated to exploring the instrument, but ESPECIALLY has allowed themselves to enjoy every moment of the process in a way they like. I often with good intentions tell students are vocally berate themselves, “It’s ok! You suck! So do I!” It’s all relative folks. Put on a lens that doesn’t compare yourself to anyone else. ENJOY the gift of music every step! Parting thoughts: if we compared ourselves to others I would’ve given up a long time ago after hearing shred a guitar. Peace.
