If you have a swimming pool that is not winterized take the following precautions to protect your equipment.
1. Fill the pool 1/2 way up the skimmers. Maybe put your hose in the garage in case you need to fill the pool again.
2. Make sure your skimmer basket and pump basket are clear of debris.
3. Run the pool continuously when temps are going below 37 for an extended time. (If you have freeze protection the pool will do this automatically)
4. You can put a tarp over your equipment with a small space heater. Just make sure there’s still some airflow!

With the freezing temps coming in tonight-here are some tips to help your pool!
1. Make sure the water level is at least halfway up the skimmers so the pool can function properly.
2. Empty your skimmer baskets, pump baskets, and cleaner bags.
3. Keep the pool running 24 hours a day!

Moving water doesn’t freeze as fast so keep everything flowing!
