I offer a majority of hair services, from haircuts to specialized hair color to formal styles.
PLEASE let me know if you need a referral for while I'm out! I am fully booked until my maternity leave, and will be returning in January part time for 5 weeks, so plan accordingly π₯°. I have no intentions on returning business texts during my time off (11/7 - 1/11), so it's crucial we get you this information now β€οΈ
Throwing it back to this blonde perfection. We've since covered up the top half with brunette and left the underneath this dreamy blonde, but this will always be one of my proudest transformations AND photos β€οΈ
Had to get Morgan's hair right for her upcoming wedding β€οΈ we went for more dimension and some brighter blonde pieces, while keeping it low maintenance because she doesn't like to come in that often. We also had a violet in her hair at one point that had some residual red to cut through as well. But now she's wedding ready π°π½β€οΈ
Those Pulp Riot Hair purples make my job so easy, and make Shana a cooler mom ππ»ββοΈ
Anyone else feeling more "fall" than usual this year? I lit fall candles yesterday, bought stuff to make grilled cheese and soup (a personal favorite of mine), and am back to wearing my flannel pajama pants when I'm lounging. I usually think September is too early for it, but I am READY this year ππ½
I'm also loving all of my dark haired gals returning to their dark hair colors. Check out this warm balayage π
When my blondes ask me to go darker, they always say "don't kill me" πππ. Saying "don't kill me" is definitely a spoiler alert that you want to go darker. But I'm ALWAYS game!! I love big changes, especially when there's such a great starting canvas π€©
Here's the thing, though. These tones wouldn't be achievable for some of my dark haired gals because the starting point is SO DIFFERENT! When you're already a bright blonde, these ash tones take so much better. When you're lifting through dark hair, you're exposing so many levels of underlying pigment. Keep this in mind when you're thinking of a big transformation!
The perfect white blonde π€ from grown out roots, banding, and a little semi color left on the ends. I love this before and after!
Do you guys know where baby carrots come from?
Yes, this is a real question. While doing Nicki's hair, I realized a lot of people just truly don't know π. These are the conversations we'll have in my chair π
.
Anyways, for those of you who didn't know, machines cut full grown carrots into small ones to make baby carrots, lol. That was my fun fact that I taught everyone π
So, a question I get a lot is "WHAT DO I BOOK?!".
I try to keep things simple with my online booking: My color options are "balayage", "babylights", and "highlights" in various forms (with root color, etc).
Chances are if you've found a Pinterest photo, you're looking at a type of balayage! Whether it be teasylights, foilayage, or traditional balayage, the timing is all encompassing for these services.
Highlights and babylights have a pretty obvious difference between them: babylights create a brighter, more solid with less dimension color.
If you're ever on the fence, book the service for more timing! I'd rather have too much time than not enough to achieve your goals!

When Jenny asked to transition darker from her (hard to achieve and maintain) icy blonde, I was ALL IN. When your hair is as naturally dark as hers, going darker just feels like HOME π‘β€οΈ
I know I almost always post curled hair, so do you enjoy seeing straight hair pictures?!
When I'm told to do whatever I want, chances are I'm always going to add dark colors for depth π€·π»ββοΈ. That doesn't mean I'm changing your hair color entirely, but seriously - her blonde seems brighter and I ONLY used lightener in about 7 foils! The higher contrast creates more of a pop, and I had to give her a healthy cut ππ»ββοΈ
Ally - thanks for giving me creative freedom!
MALLORY WITH THE DRASTIC CHANGE ππ»ππ»ππ»
Ugh, this transformation gave me so much life!!! And envy. I've done some big changes recently and I'm so excited to share them with you guys β€οΈ
I seriously love the way balayaged blondes show off so much natural dimension π
I'm still out here creating beautiful hair, even with posting less β€οΈ
We are transitioning from more of a bold red to a soft blonde balayage for the remainder of warm months. We both love the brightness on her ends β€οΈ
Y'all... there's a reason I take so many pictures of your hair and this is it. Because I reuse your head when I slack on taking pictures π and that's what I've been doing lately - slacking on pictures!
I'm busier than ever, which is amazing, but I'm also moving slower, requiring for snack breaks, and more bathroom breaks. I try to let you know in advance if I am running behind, but sometimes I may not catch it quick enough. Please bare with me for the next 3 and a half months β€οΈ
Blonde teasylights for brightness, using her natural for that contrast π add an angled haircut, and you've got literal hair goals
Ashley's hair is always a piece of art to me - from formulating the perfect green, to creating the best canvas in between our colors.
What color should we do in October?
I am out of the salon until 8/3! Please understand if you don't hear back from me as I'm enjoying my time with family on the beach β€οΈ
Here is a BIG transformation from the other day! From blonde to dark and rich π€©. I really think this color change made her hair look healthier and it complimented her skin tone better! We both loved the end result π₯°
When your real good friend asks for pink and periwinkle hair to show support for their family going through cancer, you make it happen. Pink for breast cancer and periwinkle for esophageal cancer, and a special placement discussion from my friend Kells π
Look at me! I'm back in action (hopefully) after a month hiatus from my Facebook business page. I've really been enjoying taking some time to myself, but now I've got to create the habit of posting again π
Grown out blonde ππΌ a dimensional grow out. As usual, I'm thankful for friends who support my business; but even moreso, I'm thankful for solid conversation β€οΈ
Throwin it back to my happy mistake on my friend, Kells ! Those Pulp Riot Hair interstellar colors are FIERCE and I love being able to customize (and accidentally create) amazing colors with the pure pigment!
Have you been celebrating Pride this month?
I was supposed to attend my first ever Pride in 2020. I wanted to for years, but I was always already booked on those Saturdays. 2020 was going to be different! I was taking off no matter what! Buuuut the pandemic ruined it, like most things.
I still haven't gone, I missed the memo about Hamilton Pride and NKY Pride until it was too late this year. What other Pride events are going on?!
Back to warmer temps = this lovely pop of color π
I feel really badly that I've not been posting a lot! I'm trying to get back into the routine of posting now that I'm feeling *mostly* better but tiredness reigns supreme these days π
thanks for being so patient and understanding with me lately! Y'all are the best.
Bre hasn't had her hair professionally done in YEARS and she trusted me π₯Ίβ€οΈ. The friendships and support I get from playing indoor soccer is SERIOUSLY amazing (with and against! Bre is an opponent!). It's one of my favorite hobbies and this 10+ month break is killer π© but at least I still get to see all of my friends!
Anyways, enough of my rambling. This is a full head of teasylights for brightness. Not pictured: a bomb money piece.
Some fresh hair for a lovely trip to Mexico (which I am 100% jealous of) for my client Jenea! Y'all book your vacations with her because Lord knows we all need it after 2020!

Happy Memorial Day, everyone. Remember the true meaning behind today while you enjoy it with your loved ones!
Dipping our toes in the world of β¨colorβ¨ and obsessed over these pops of blues, pinks, and purples π
Throwing it back to Jenny's blonding session as a not so subtle reminder to her (and everyone else) to make your next appointment. June dates are filling up fast, and July has limited availability. I added a few hours to my August-October schedule to have shorter days, more days a week so we'll see how that works out for everyone!
π¨ PLEASE READ π¨
A hot topic of conversation around the salon recently has been - you guessed it!
Face masks π·
With Governor Dewine lifting all COVID-19 mandates beginning June 2nd, we have decided to MAINTAIN a mask mandate in the salon until further notice.
Please continue to wear your mask to your appointment. If you do not have one, we will provide you with one.
Also, please note, this is not permanent. Our owner is expecting her first child and has not received doctor approval for the vaccine. Once approval is given (anticipated shortly! ππ½), vaccinations will be had and it will be up to each individual stylist what they choose to maintain for their clients.
We appreciate your understanding during this time!
I got to spoil this momma the other week, just in time for Mother's Day and her birthday. We took her to a bit of a brighter blonde, while keeping some of her depth.
What's your favorite way to spoil yourself?
Do you say care-a-mel or car-mull?
Kells says both depending on what she's talking about, which I think is weird. I'm team care-a-mel.
I am DAMN PROUD of this! I am living for this mermaid blue π
Total time from start to finish was FIVE HOURS. I did a full head of babylights, with a root drop in between to cut out some banding. We toned out as much yellow as we could, dried, and applied a mix of all Pulp Riot Hair ! Decoy, Aquatic, Nightfall, Blue Muse, and a teeeeensy bit of Nevermore to cut through a couple not as "clean" pieces.
Used my Hattori Hanzo Shears shears to clean up her length and add in some layers!
Add in IGK Hair Good Behavior Spray and some Speechless for shine, and then you've got the perfect before and after picture!

This doesn't even look like the same head of hair π Have I ever told y'all HOW MUCH I LOVE Pulp Riot Hair REDS?! They're so amazingly rich!
Didja know? When you're lifting through previously colored hair, you're going to have warmth. There's just no way around it. SO, I choose to embrace it! I add a little copper to my formulas and really play off the tones of the raw lift. I thinkkkk our eventual goal is lighter, brighter, and less gold, but for now, this will work β€οΈ
I love a good, dimensional blonde. I am always proud of my work, but I'm especially proud of the way this hair color ribbons itself to show off all of the depth! What have you done this week that you're proud of?
Nicki is one of my favorite new clients - she's a great time and has amazing hair π and gives zero effs about what I do which makes my job so fun!
I know I've been MIA since about March. I've not been posting nearly as much, and have had little hiatuses here and there.
If you are friends with me on my personal page, or follow me on Instagram, you are in on my little secret! We're expecting some cheap child labor at the salon in November π₯°. So, as a result, for the past 9 weeks or so, I've been EXHAUSTED - hence my lack of posts! But I'm hoping to be back regular now that I've hit the second trimester.
Enjoy this ultrasound of our little soccer player, and stay tuned for some new hair photos this week!
We've made Ashley a deep burgundy, then navy blue, and now purple. What color do you want to see next?!
Is swoon still a word? Because I constantly wanna use it but I don't think that's what the cool kids do, and I wanna be hip. ANYWAYS, swooooooon π
