A funeral refuses to enter the mosque. This is a true story that a young man told and witnessed it himself. He says that one day he went to perform the Fajr prayer in the Al-Abbas Mosque in Taif. When he arrived at the mosque, he found that two funerals had come to the mosque. It refuses to enter, by leaning sometimes to the right and sometimes to the left until it is crosswise, so the mourners are unable to enter it, so its people tried once, twice, or thrice, but to no avail.
The dead are trying until he came to the imam of the mosque and saw the event, then he looked at the family of the dead and said, “Was he praying?” One of them said that the dead did not enter the house of Allah and did not kneel one rak’ah in his life. Do you know what the imam said after that? He said, How do you want to enter her into the mosque and you want us to pray for her when she refused to enter the house of Allah during her life, and also in her death she refuses to enter the mosque? So the family of the dead cried and took the funeral and went to where Allah knows best. He said I was praying at dawn and I was in pain from this great thing that I saw.
I stood afraid and stayed in the mosque until the sun rose. Then I remembered and thought: If I were in his place, what would I say on the Day of Resurrection? . We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. If you complete it, say Oh Allah, grant us the best end of our deeds. Do share so that he who does not pray can learn ............
