Day two of four of Blue Devil Days. A yearly event prepping next year's Duke first year students and parents for their upcoming time at Duke.
Hard to believe that Laundrymen is finishing our 16th year at Duke and looking towards year 17!
(We were founded in 2004, so Laundrymen is 19 years old!)

Laundrymen is open next week Monday through Wednesday (Nov. 21 - 23) for Thanksgiving week.
We have the following pickup/dropoff route schedule:
Duke - Sunday/Tuesday ONLY
Residential - Monday/Wednesday (as normal)
Residential - Tuesday/Friday (normally a Thursday dropoff)
Residential - Wednesday/Friday route is MONDAY/WEDNESDAY

Laundrymen is looking for a laundry processor to come on board. In this position, you will be responsible for organizing, cleaning and sorting customer clothing and linen items, including sheets and towels. The position also requires you to use our provided cleaning materials to tackle items in need of extra attention. You will report directly to our plant manager who will guide you through best practices and address any concerns that arises in your daily tasks. This is the perfect position for anyone detail-oriented who enjoys working with customers, takes pride in his or her work and has third shift availability Sunday-Thursday 11pm until 7am
Job Responsibilities

* Load articles into dryers or washers at regular intervals to ensure customer orders are ready for on time pickup
* Provide light service to machines, and clean lint trap when needed; alert manager when machines are in need of professional repair
• Sort articles before cleaning, separating them by fabric, color, cleaning technique or dirt content for best results
*Neatly fold and package customer's laundry for delivery

• Maintain the cleanliness of the laundromat
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:
• Must have customer focused mindset
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand, walk and stretch for long periods
• Excellent organizational skills
Preferred:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a laundry worker

Welcome Duke freshmen to the 2021/2022 school year! Laundrymen is on the East Campus quad all day ready to hand out bags, register students, and answer questions for laundry and dry cleaning.
Laundrymen has been keeping Duke students clean for over a decade and servicing the Triangle area since 2004!

We have a position available for our Duke University laundry route. We are looking for a person to drive, pick up, and deliver laundry and dry cleaning to dorms on Duke's campus. Currently, the days are Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12 until 8. Position begins with one Saturday shift to deliver bags to new customers on Saturday, August 21st. First pick up is Sunday, August 22nd.

We need someone who can handle heavy laundry bags and stairs, can work alone without constant supervision, is trustworthy, is vaccinated, and can pass a background check.

We are looking for a person to join our 3rd shift laundry processing team. Hours are 9:30pm- until we are done. There is some wiggle room with start time to accommodate another job. We work Monday- Thursday nights with Sunday work beginning mid-August. Position requires washing, drying, and folding clothes. Long periods of standing along with bending and lifting. No customer service and little cleaning! Attention to detail and positive attitude required. Located in Durham on guess road. Location given during interview.

We are looking for people to join our third shift. 9:30pm- until production is done. Sunday-Thursday nights.

The job requires good organization. You will be on your feet for the entire shift. You will be responsible for working on a team and loading machines, moving to dryers, and folding clothing.
