Rendezvous for Kids

We are happy to announce that Neill Public Library will be creating a cozy corner for this year’s Rendezvous in the Park for Kids. Kids will be able to relax, read and hangout with the NPL childrens librarian.
In addition, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories will be partnering with us for the first time and will provide STEM activities for the kids.

We are excited to partner with North Idaho Athletic Club again this year. They are bringing some of their fun equipment for the kids to experience and use.
In addition to this, we are pleased to announce Gambino's and Subway as this year’s lunch sponsors. The kids are in for a treat!

Rendezvous in the Park

We are excited to once again have Idaho Public Television (PBS Kids) join us for R4Kids! They provide great educational content and resources, and we’re glad they’ve partnered with us again this year. https://www.idahoptv.org/
WSU’s School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering is joining us as a new partner this year! They will be bringing robots and 3D printing pens for the kids to explore and create with (check out the robots they’re bringing!). https://mme.wsu.edu
Rendezvous in the Park

Tye Dye Everything will be one of our vendors again this year! Tye Dye Everything has been participating in R4kids for many, many years, and I know it’s one of my kids favorite parts of Rendezvous.
We’re also really excited to have Terracotta Pullman join us this year! They will be bringing clay and helping kids create slap sculptures that can be picked up at their new Moscow location two weeks after the festival.

We’re less than a week away from this years Rendezvous in the Park for Kids (July 18th-19th)! This year, we’re partnering with Moscow Contemporary to create a mural, animal costumes, mold clay animals, make instruments and learn animal dances with some of Moscow Contemporary’s talented artists. On Friday night, the participants will be given an opportunity to put on their costumes, paint their faces (thanks to one of our sponsors, Safari Pearl) and show off what they learned during an animal parade between the music performances!

Rendezvous in the Park

Rendezvous in the Park for Kids is getting closer, and this year we have a few new vendors that we will highlight in the next few weeks, as well as an opportunity for the kids to participate in an animal dance parade in the main festival on Friday night before Josh Ritter plays!

We need volunteers of all ages! This year’s Rendezvous in the Park for Kids volunteers will help us to keep groups organized, assist kids with projects, and help them in various other capacities. Volunteers who help for 4+ hours get a ticket to the main show (this is a great opportunity for parents to bring their kids to the main show to participate in the animal parade).

We are also looking for people to get involved in the Rendezvous for Kids planning committee. If you are passionate about music, arts, kids, or the Moscow community, this is a great opportunity to get involved!

In a couple of hours, the rendezvous for kids start. If you didn’t manage to get a ticket yet, your children are still welcome. We accept today and tomorrow walk-ins. Registration for walk ins start at 9 AM. Hopefully we will see you at East City Park.
