Our international Kambia programs are made possible by inspiring and dedicated faculty members like Professor Borisuk that lead their students abroad to make an impact.

During their one-week trip to Panama, Professor Borisuk and her team of business students worked directly with the community of Rio Venado and Ipeti Guna to provide Financial Empowerment. We are grateful for the impact that their trip had and hope to see Professor Borisuk and her students again soon!

Through the program, students confront marketing challenges, apply the 7 Ps of marketing, and create tailored plans to drive business growth.

The University of Southern California just returned from Panama where they collaborated with .juntos.podremos and the communities of Piriatí Emberá and Ipetí Guna to provide consulting services to small businesses and local banks.

Small businesses are the backbone of any economy, and they play an especially important role in developing countries, however, small businesses in Panama often face challenges, such as limited access to capital. ESKALA and Global Brigades work together to bring essential financial services to small-scale business owners.
