This Saturday at 11 a.m. The Buffalo Museum of Science and Delaware North invite you to a free conversation featuring Dr. Russell Wigginton, the president of the National Civil Rights Museum
Delaware North's culinary team from Highmark Stadium and KeyBank Arena will provide lunch immediately following the event in Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
Reflecting on the devastating events of May 14, Dr. Wigginton will discuss urgent topics of civil and human rights and the pursuit of social justice through the context of historic milestones in the American civil rights movement.
The conversation will include time for audience member questions with the hope of sparking a dialogue that will carry into the Buffalo community’s healing and rebuilding efforts.
Ekua Mends-Aidoo and Kendra Brim, hosts of the “Black Gems Dive In Podcast,” will moderate the conversation.
In addition to Dr. Wigginton’s speaking engagement, Delaware North will sponsor day-long free visitation for individuals and families to the Buffalo Museum of Science.
