Congratulations to Team 78 for winning Tennessee’s FIRST EVER Impact award at this year’s ICDC! Every year, DECA Inc. recognizes state associations in 5 different categories: advocacy, community outreach, innovations, membership, and partner/sponsor outreach. With their submission in the membership category, Tennessee’s Team 78 was recognized for their impactful, association-wide membership programs and initiatives, ultimately being selected over 10 other associations.
In addition, Team 78 earned Tennessee the Southern Region Legendary award, recognizing their excellence in engagement and dedication at the association level during the 2021-2022 school year.

Tennessee DECA, thank you for allowing us the opportunity to lead you this past year. Being able to welcome you all back to our first in-person State Conference in two years was both an honor and a privilege. We would like to thank all of the advisors, staff, members, and volunteers because, without you all, none of this would be possible. Still, we cannot help but think of our goodbye as bittersweet, as we feel as if we were just getting to know you all. Nonetheless, we cannot wait to see many of you one last time at ICDC in Atlanta. This is Team 78, signing off.
