Yesterday, I had the honor to represent the Methuen Police Department at the annual Massachusetts Pink Patch Project group photo and meet-up.

This year's location was the Bourne Rotary, a well-known gateway to the Cape. Departments from all over Massachusetts came together to collaborate, share ideas, show support, and raise awareness for those battling cancer.

Our pink cruiser was one of six pink-themed cruisers in attendance.

What a beautiful day for Methuen Day! Thank you to Yohanna, Yennifer and Jorge, who manned the MPD Pink Patch Program table with me.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to raise $750 today towards our 2024 campaign!!!!

It was great to connect with so many from our community, represent the department in a positive way and raise money for cancer research.

You can get one of our new style 2024 patches by visiting our web portal and making a minimum $10 donation. All money collected goes directly to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. Click the link below or scan the QR code on our flyer!!

Always a pleasure to represent MPD at community events and this one was no different.

Massachusetts Cars and Cops car show was a huge success. So many cool cars as well as vintage cop cars. I met so many great people today!

A good time for a good cause as a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Greg Hill Foundation.

My first year attending police week in Washington D.C. and it was quite a humbling experience.

Two hundred and eighty-two officers lost their lives in the line of duty in 2023.

Over 24,000 officers have lost their lives in the line of duty.

Thank you: Kim, Karin, Sherri, Monica, Yohanna, Yenifer, Meaghan, Ambar and Jorge.

I appreciate each of you!

Each year during the second week of April, telecommunications personnel in the public safety community, are honored.

This week-long event, initially set up in 1981 by Patricia Anderson of the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office in California, is a time to celebrate and thank those who dedicate their lives to serving the public.

It is a week that should be set aside so everyone can be made aware of their hard work and dedication.

This year, National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week is celebrated from April 14th through April 20th.

We appreciate our dispatchers and the work they do helping to keep our officers and the community safe.

Please join us in thanking them for this important work!
