โWe are working on building fire and strength in our upper bodies this Leo season. For 5 weeks, we are opening our hearts, building muscles in our arms-shoulders-upper backs, and building heat.
When we strengthen muscles we usually forget about, we let overworked muscles relax. After class today, a student commented on how he hadnโt realized how tight his glutes had been, but now felt release and relief from pain.โ

Embrace the balance of Summer with our Summer Yin & Yang Yoga Workshop, designed to invigorate and soothe your body and mind. This 90-minute session is perfect for those looking to experience a harmonious blend of both active and restorative yoga practices.
โฏ๏ธClass Breakdown:
First 60 Minutes (Yang): We will ignite our inner fire with a dynamic and vigorous asana practice. Expect to build heat and challenge yourself with a series of energizing postures that will get your heart pumping and muscles working.
Final 30 Minutes (Yin): After weโve built up energy, weโll transition into a calming, grounding Yin practice. Youโll find stillness and stretch deeply in long-held postures designed to soothe and release tension, bringing a perfect balance to your practice.
This workshop is ideal for yogis who favor an active (Yang) practice but are curious about the benefits of slower (Yin) postures, and vice versa. Itโs also a great opportunity for students of all levels to deepen their understanding of how these two styles can complement each other in a single, balanced practice.

Foundations of Forearm Balance with .conyers
Sunday June 23rd at 1:00PM
๐คธ๐ฟIn this workshop you will uncover the tools needed in order to stand confidently on your forearms. We will work through a variety of drills and sequencing that build the strength and stability to stand safely in Pincha Mayurasana, including modifications to simplify and/or introductions to advanced variations. Students with a preexisting inversion practice or no inversion practice at all are welcome to join!
-confidence in your inversion practice
-drills to help you build strength to safely get upside down
-meditations to develop trust and unblock fear of falling
-a fun new way to experience joy in your body
You do not need to have an inversion practice prior to attending this workshop however some yoga experience is highly recommended
Low Lunge Pose: Grounded & Elevated ๐
Unlock the power of Low Lunge (Anjaneyasana) alongside with two supportive variations that cater to your practice needs! ๐งโโ๏ธ
1๏ธโฃ **Seated Variation (using a chair):**
- **How to:** Sit sideways and near the edge of a sturdy chair with both feet flat on the floor. Slide your right foot back as far as feels comfortable, with your toes tucked under and your heel lifted. Keep your left foot forward, flat on the ground with your knee bent and your glute and thigh supported by the chair seat. Adjust your position to find a comfortable stretch in your right hip flexor. Aim to Keep your torso upright, perhaps holding the charge back for balance or extending one or both arms to the sky and lifting through the head.
- **Benefits:** This seated version offers a gentle, accessible way to open the hips and stretch the thighs, perfect for those seeking support or sneaking in a juicy stretch at your desk.
2๏ธโฃ **Grounded Variation:**
- **How to:** Start in a downward facing dog, step your right foot forward between your hands, aligning your knee over your ankle. Lower your left knee to the mat and keep your toes untucked - feel free to place a blanket or cushion under your knee for comfort. Sink your pelvis down and forward, feeling a stretch through the left hip flexor. Keep your chest lifted and either place hands on your thigh, blocks, or the ground for support or allow arms to float over head for more energy and stretch.
- **Benefits:** This variation deeply opens your hips, stretches the thighs, and strengthens the legs, promoting balance and stability.
Whether youโre feeling grounded or need a lift, thereโs a Low Lunge variation to support your journey. ๐โจ
