I'm so happy with the way our new ceiling fans/lights turned out in the bedrooms! I hope our guests will enjoy the cool breeze during the summer months.
This winter's record snowfall and this week's warm weather have made Yosemite's rivers and creeks full and pounding. This is Chilnualna Falls, about a quarter mile from Meadow View Cabin. Chilnualna Creek feeds into the south fork of the Merced, which has great swimming holes (maybe still a little cool in May) right by the cabin. If you were thinking of visiting Yosemite, now is the time.
