Specializing in entertainment taxes for over 20 years. You can pay more but you will never get more. It's simple. That's a record we are very proud of. Why?
We specialize in preparing taxes for actors, performers and other members of the entertainment industry; over 1500 of your friends, neighbors and co-workers last year alone. But not all of them had something to do with the entertainment industry, we have become the tax office for hundreds of others outside the industry because of our informative, relaxed style of preparation. Because most performe
rs need to make use of a variety of tax forms we have chosen not to charge on a per form basis as most preparers, especially the national chains, do. Our standard fee usually covers the vast majority of our clients' needs. For those few clients who may have a need for more of our time, usually those with extensive stock sales or rental property, we do charge for additional time. Even then we break down the hourly fee into fifteen minute increments. We focus on making the tax process comfortable and understandable for all of our clients. Our team of associates wants you to know that when you leave our office no stone has been left unturned in making use of every deduction you are legally allowed. And the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and understand every element of your tax return--perhaps for the first time. As a result you will be better prepared to deal with your taxes for every year to come. Because we know and understand our job better than most, the audit rate of our clients is less than one third the national average. In our nineteen year history only two of our clients have ever had to pay a dollar more as a result of an examination by the IRS. Yet our standard fee for a return is significantly less than almost all of our competition. Not because you won't get the best possible return, but because preparing tax returns for members of the entertainment industry is what we do all of the time. Again, the average return for a performer is usually far more intricate than for the average working employee. If you believe that you have to pay more to get the best possible tax return, you're dead wrong. That belief is a waste of your hard earned money. If anyone tells you they can get you one dime more than we can, they are lying to you or the IRS, maybe both. But you will be the only one paying for the mistake.
