Growing up, one of my very favorite films was "South Pacific." The idea of Bali Ha'i- the special, mysterious island that calls to you- captured my imagination from a young age and inspired me to go out discover hidden corners of the planet where magic happens. I also strongly believe in environmentally and socially responsible tourism, and I partner whenever possible with suppliers that are dedic
ated to treading lightly on the Earth, preserving local communities, treating their employees well, and giving something back. I have been certified as a Destination Specialist by the tourism boards of Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Fiji, Hawaii, Jamaica, and St. Lucia, in addition to earning certifications as a specialist in adventure travel and destination weddings/honeymoons through The Travel Institute. I also belong to the Destination Wedding and Honeymoon Specialist Association. Above all else, I am passionate about travel experiences that broaden horizons, cultivate respect for the environment and other cultures, and engender sense of place, appreciation, and connection in the traveler.
