ene was born and raised in Kittery Maine. She grew up in a house that sat across the street from the ocean and coastline of Kittery Maine. She has always resided in Maine, and has never been further than a short bike ride to the beaches and coastline of southern Maine. By living in that area her while life, she always had an affection for the shorelines of Maine. With her family planted in the area and many family members working as lobsterman and on the Navy Yards, you can see her forever connection to the shores of Maine.. Growing up on the beaches and collecting sea glass was something she has always done and enjoyed. It has been through those memories that brought her to the medium she works with today.. Still scouring the coasts looking for sea glass, Arlene still finds enjoyment in finding those special pieces of glass for her jewelry. It's those great finds that keep her busy and well stocked in some great pieces of sea glass that she carefully chosen and collected for her earrings, necklaces, and key chains. All of Arlene's earrings are made with sterling silver parts... And all of her pieces are made right here in Eliot, Maine. Collected by a life long Mainer off the coasts of Maine and made in Maine.
