Recap of Coles County Speedway, Illinois
With our local track being done for the year, we decided to check another track off the bucket list. I started 1st and finished 2nd in my heat. We won the bmain from 1st which started us 16th in the feature. We stayed out of everyone else’s problems and were able to finish 11th out of 46 cars. Happy we were able to finish the season on a positive note at a new track.
Came down to Coles County Speedway for our final race of the season.

We ran both A-NW and Outlaw NW tonight. I started 2nd in the ANW heat and finished 1st. Started 1st and ended 2nd in the Outlaw NW heat. I redrew a 4 for the ANW feature and ended 6th. I redrew a 3 for the Outlaw NW feature and fell back to 7th. I worked my way back up to finish 4th.
Really happy with how our night went overall. A thanks goes out to all of our sponsors that help put us on the track each and every weekend.
Heat race win at US24 Speedway in A class. Starting P4 in feature. P2 in outlaw non wing heat. Starting P3 in feature.
Weekend recap at US 24 Speedway. Friday night we finished 2nd in the heat and started 6th in feature and got caught up in a incident and finished 13th. Saturday won the the heat race from the pole and started 4th in feature. Again we got caught up in another incident on the track which took us out. Dang the bad luck. We have been qualifying strong and getting good heat race finishes with good feature starting spots. Now we have to just stay out of trouble and get better finishes.
Thank you to Rodney Stealy at Concept for always being at the track and having the parts we all need to staying racing. Another shout out to Ryan Shietze for the nerf bar.
Garrett got the heat race win tonight at US 24 Speedway. Looking for a good feature finish.
Happy 17th birthday, Garrett!
We raced Friday at Circus City SpeedPlex. Started 5th in the heat and made my to 2nd. That started us 3rd in the feature. Only a few laps in and caught the cushion wrong which sent me flipping. There was too much damage to get the car back on the track for Saturday. But should be good to go for next week.

We decided to race both outlaw non wing and A class non wing for the final race of the season. In the ONW heat, I started 9th and moved up to 7th. In the ANW, I started 7th and finished 7th. The ONW feature didn’t go very well and was in an accident early on so I had to take the dnf. We made repairs and barely made it out for the ANW feature. I started 14th and was able to move up to 8th. That put in 10th for points to finish out the season. A big thanks goes out to our sponsors for making that happen.

I had a fast car tonight. Qualified 3rd which started me 2nd in the heat. I was leading and was racing hard with another car and got together which sent me for a ride. A huge thank you to Dawson Stealy, Hoyers, Shietzes, Brandons, Bobby Blount, Hartzells and all the others who helped get the car back together. I was able to make it out to the bmain just in time and I transferred into the Amain. I started 19th and finished 12th.
Had a rough start Saturday night after qualifying 7th in my group. Started 7th and finished 6th in the heat still chasing the setup. I started 2nd in the bmain and was able to transfer to the Amain with a 3rd place finish. That started me 18th in the feature. We were able to finally nail the setup and I was able to drive up to 11th.
A huge thanks goes out to all of my sponsors, I wouldn’t be able to do this without them.
Great win Austin!!! 🏁🏁🏁
After a rough week last week, repairs were made and ready for a great night at US 24 Speedway.
I started 3rd in the heat race after qualifying 2nd fast in my group. Couldn’t get to the top quick enough and ended 4th. That put me one spot outside of transferring so I had to run the bmain. I started 2nd and ended 3rd for that. I started 18th for the feature and was moving up. I made my way to 13th only about half way in to the feature. But a car spun right infront of me and I had no where to go breaking a bunch of stuff in the front end. Unfortunate end to the start of a good night but that’s just racing. We’ll get it fixed for next week.
We decided to race both outlaw non wing and A non wing. Started 2nd in outlaw and finished 2nd in the heat. Started 5th in A class and moved up to 3rd. I started 5th in the outlaw feature and was able to finish 7th which we were pretty happy about. But the problems started to arise before the A class feature. I went to go up to staging but the car had no power. We found a couple of melted wires that seem to be the problem.
Still really happy with the weekend overall.
Really good night of racing for us. Believe we have our internal problems fixed. Started 6th in the heat and couldn’t do anything with it to finish 6th. That started me 2nd in the bmain. I had a bad start and fell back to 8th. Was able to drive back up to get 3rd to transfer. Started 18th in the feature and moved up to 12th. All in all, pretty happy of how the night panned out.
None of this would be possible without
