When you are preparing for your wedding hair, it’s all about keeping it realistic. You don’t have to undergo a huge change - in fact, I don’t recommend it. The shock of a never-before-seen hair color or cut is not going to help you feel confident and comfortable on your wedding day. I always say, go with what you know. Chances are, enhancing what you already have is an accessible and effective way to glam up for the big day.

Clean hair is essential for building a wedding hairstyle. Despite what we may have been told in the past, “dirty” hair doesn’t hold a hairstyle better than clean hair.
I love Malibu C for my weekly clarifying shampoo. I find that my scalp and hair do much better when I’m getting rid of product build up on a regular basis.

Bridal hairstyle trials can be done at any time but in my experience, about a month or so out is the ideal time. Of course, if you need to schedule earlier or later, we can make it work either way.

Unpopular opinion: I believe that you should wear your hair however you like, no matter what “shape” your face happens to be. By the way, who came up with the whole face shape thing, anyway? I digress … in my opinion, your comfort level and confidence level are far more important. So, if you love your hair away from your face, we will do that. If you like face framing pieces, we’ll do that. It truly is all about how you feel when you look in the mirror. Of course, we can find a hairstyle to match the theme and vibe of your wedding so that your look is cohesive. But my main goal is for you to feel amazing and for that to shine through on your wedding day.
