Please keep these Haitian orphans in prayer! They have suffered the loss of parents, loved ones and some much more through the earthquake! Thank you Elison René for all the hard work you and your ministry team have put into making sure these little ones are getting food, personal needs and spiritual needs!
If the Lord stirs your heart to help, contact us, as we will see to it that all donations go to help these little one’s in need!
We sent a donation to our friend Elison, who runs a ministry called“Hope for Healing Haiti” a couple weeks ago. They have been able to put together care packages together to help reach 233 fellow Haitians in their time of need after the earthquake. Each care package has things like food, personal hygiene products and toiletries. (They were able to provide all of these items for $2.15 a person) Most of all, they have presented the Good News of Jesus to them as well!
If you would like to help Elison and his ministry reach more people, please contact us through Messenger or text at (260) 580-6866 regarding how you can give. 100% of all donations will go to this cause!
A huge “Thank you!” to all who donated to help in Haiti! Elison and his wife were able to purchase supplies and food to help many families in his community affected by the earthquake.
Thank the Lord for the blessings he’s given you today!
We have been in contact with Elison René, the young man we met in Haiti in 2011. He and his wife run a ministry called Hope for Healing Haiti.
They are helping spread the love of Jesus to Haitians. Many that they minister to have lost their homes in the earthquake and they are trying to help them with supplying tents to live in and some basic life necessities. Please be praying for their safety and God’s hand of protection during these difficult days.
If you would like to help financially in this effort, please send us a message via Messenger or text us at (260) 580-6866. We are sending 100% of the donations directly to them to help.
God bless!
As many of you know, we had went to Haiti in 2011 on a mission trip with our church through Mission of Hope. We met a young man named Elison Renè. He was 16 at that time, with dreams of coming to the US to learn to be a car mechanic and then go back to Haiti and fix cars and share Jesus with fellow Haitians.
He did not make it to the US, but he is now running an organization helping children and families learn about our Lord!
Elison sent us a message early this morning, asking for help, as yesterday's earthquake destroyed so much of what they have been working on rebuilding since the 2010 quake.

Join us in praying and supporting this great organization. This is the ministry we went with back in 2011. Blessings!
Pastor Samuel and Mr. Marc praying over the HaitiOne Disaster Response Team as they head to the field for initial assessments.
Would you pray by name for the response team as they serve and offer help? Pray for God-given wisdom and endurance as they carry the message of hope to the hurting and weary.

The hottest temperature ever recorded on earth was in Death Valley on July 10th, 1913, 134°.
This weekend, temperatures will be very close to that record. Join us in praying for all who are subject to the intense heat wave, that cooling systems remain working, no water shortages, no fires break out, and safety for all who live in the areas affected.
Not everything we do with Near and Far is helping with cleanup after the disasters. Our primary focus really is making connections with people and helping connect organizations to help in the advancement of sharing the love of Jesus.
One connection Steve has made is through his work and Grace Klein Community. You can read about it in the article below.
If your place of business has resources you feel could be donated to help others in need, contact us and let’s see if we can make some “Connections” together!
We have made a great CONNECTION between Grace Klein Community and Midwest Veterinary Supply! Last week we filled the GKC box truck with 7 pallets of cooler boxes and ice packs, which they have been using for sending cold food to families who are in need of groceries. Tornado season has kept them busy!
Will be looking at going back to the Fultondale area this Weekend. Praying for some God encounters!
This is what we were called to Alabama!
Second weekend in Fultondale. Helped out a friend we met last week. He had three trees down in his yard. We were able to get it all cut and cleared in just a few hours thanks to our friend Taylor who volunteered her afternoon to help us!
He had to throw out most of his cold food due to the tornado knocking out power. Thanks to our friends across the US, we were able to help him with gift cards so he can restock his fridge! He was overwhelmed by the generosity of strangers and thanking God for the help!
Today while giving out Valentine's gifts in one of the hardest hit areas, we met a man named Johnny.
Johnny was visiting his girlfriend Wendy and her son when the tornado hit. They ran to the closet in the back right corner of the home. As you can tell from the picture, everything except the that side of the house was destroyed! The only inter was the son had cut his foot on a piece of glass when getting out of the home.
We gave him a gift bag with some goodies, flowers, a grocery gift, a Full Moon BBQ gift card and a nice snuggle blanket. He had to keep his emotions in check because he now had flowers to give Wendy and her favorite restaurant is Full Moon!
By the way, in the last pic, the mockingbird that hung out in their yard all the time landed on the top of the house peak during our conversation!
Tomorrow is not promised to us, so count each day a blessing to be alive!
We are so excited for the “Hands of Love” outreach this Saturday! Response has been amazing! We have received donations from people in AL, IN, MI, KY, OH, TN, TX, GA and SC! We are looking at doing a second date, as some donations are coming in later, so stay tuned!
We will do the best to get you the names of the family/families your donation goes to. We will try to get prayer needs so you know how to pray for them.
So many people want to help but can’t, so that is why we are giving you the opportunity to donate so you CAN participate! (See previous post on ways you can donate)
Blessings!
