There is just something about building these “Space Cowboys” that I love. Most people either love or hate them. Sorry I have been away for awhile folks, had spine surgery and recovery has been difficult. I’m slowly getting back into working. Let me know what you think of these modernized lever guns.

This Kimber is all finished. Graphite Black Cerakote on the slide and all controls, a fresh set of batteries for the laser and a nice clean trigger job.

Cerakote is done, doing a much needed trigger job before final assembly on this Kimber 1911.

This beautiful Kimber came in for some fresh Cerakote and a trigger job. Heading to the paint booth tomorrow.

This little Marlin .22 is in for a full makeover.

Another fun box-o-gun day. We will be customizing this .308 after a few range days.

Great tunes on in a warm room, life is good.

Update on the twin .410’s. Blueing done, plastics restored, old finish stripped off. Now to recut some checkering lines and start sanding.

Stock work is a great way to start a Monday. Slowly and carefully sanding to get ready to put life back into these stocks.

Really excited to start full restorations to this pair of Stevens Model 94’s.

My gun don’t work Wednesday. If you think watching a YouTube video makes you a gunsmith, you’re wrong. Please don’t ever file on the internal components, especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. A total of 3 parts were filed incorrectly and a total of 3 parts are getting replaced. Also, this isn’t a slam on the customer, I believe it was unknowingly purchased this way.

Had this beautiful pre-64 Wi******er model 94 come in the shop. Hasn’t been able to chamber a round in years. After a much needed deep clean, found that the elevator had a bent ear and wouldn’t allow it to move at all. Heating and straightening did the trick. This old girl runs like a top now.
